  1. Could be GPU or the power to the GPU. Check you connections and cables.
  2. This is awesome, a fully functional PC put together from other people's unwanted PC parts. Sure it's not great by modern standards, but it's something that works. A fine example of being smart and tanking advantage of the good opportunities given to achieve a positive goal. I give it two thumbs up.
  3. Should perform pretty well, if those are normal prices for your region and you like it, go for it.
  4. Sorry, I put a k by accident because I was thinking about the 12600kf and changed my statement. 4c 8t is 4 cores and 8 threads. This type of abbreviation is common because we like shorten things sometimes, like PSU and GPU.
  5. Mess with the curve optimizer in the PBO settings, you may need to mess with the power limits (PPT, EDC and TDC). Then undervolt the core voltage. You can tune it so the temps are no higher than the mid 70's if you want. With some tweaks you can get 4.65 all core with good temps on a decent cooler. I don't know what you followed from Tech Yes is the correct guide for you, but you should be able to get better performance than a stock 5800X while keeping the temps under control with a decent cooler.
  6. Minimum requirements are an R5 2600 or i5 8400 CPU and a GTX 970 or Vega 56 GPU. Wait! WTF! The GTX 970 and the Vega 56 are not even in the same ballpark. It is in early access, so I'm assuming some more optimization needs to be done.
  7. I know the i3 is tempting, but with the game performance that you are going to get at an RX 6600 level, you can get close with a 4c8t i7 for cheap. Well... at least in the usa, l don't know how the used pc market is in your part of the world, so it depend. But hey! If you could spring for an i5 13400f or something close, go with that.
  8. With those games at 1080p, anything more than maybe a 4070 ti super or whatever is is a waste. Really, my GTX 980 ti can do fine in those games.
  9. Anything from the bronx, Manhattan or around those areas is a scam. Do a reverse image search, most of the time you find the same thing, but it's in a different location. Which would mean, it's a scam.
  10. Don't go from 8 cores to 6 cores, go for another 8 core CPU like the R7 5700X, 5800X or the 5800X3D, which ever you can get a great deal on.
  11. Could be a hacked account or they just don't effin care about the rules. Since they don't have a lot of posts here I'm assuming that they are just a rule breaking, trouble making troll. The mods here do a pretty good stopping these pathetic trolls and really the community here does a good job of reporting the trolls as well.
  12. IDK, every OLED monitor I have seen has color fringing around the text and stuff. Like you, I notice it more than other people do and I use a CRT for gaming and editing which is another type of display where color fringing can be seen, but it's somehow better on that. You could try sitting farther away, maybe you are too close to the display.
  13. Life is to short for a crappy $400 PC. Look for used CPU, Motherboard and RAM combos to get the best bang for the buck. PC cases can be free if you know how to recycle, then the rest of the budget can go towards a good PSU, SSD and used GPU.
  14. Their not going to be completely gone, but maybe less noticeable.
  15. Get like an 800-1000 RPM 120mm fan, that should be low on noise. As for the cpu, the stock intel cooler and fan should be fine. Do what @Agallsuggested first.
  16. It seems that the fringing on text with most of the OLEDs I have seen is worse than my CRT. It's something you will have to live with for now and the best OLED display that I have seen with the least amount of fringing is the Sony Bravia OLED TVs, but that's a TV. Do what @Stahlmannsaid and bump up the resolution scaling and give that a try.
  17. I don't know the market in Sweden, but that system should pretty good as performance goes. I would go for 32GB of RAM though, trust me, it's nice not having to worry about how many applications you have open using up whatever RAM is left.
  18. This may be fine for vanilla GTA V, but not as good for FiveM. Some fiveM servers will make your PC struggle no matter how low you have your graphics settings, because you are just playing modded gta, sometimes with poorly optimized mods that can make a good PC struggle.
  19. I know nothing about aerospace, but college can be a waste if you don't make the right moves and just follow the crowd. Get your foot in the door to almost or close as possible to whatever you want to work in before you come close to finishing college. People come out college and don't like the fact that they have to start from the bottom. Start from the bottom before you even finish, that gives you a huge advantage, because experience in some fields can apply to others and they know you can trusted more.
  20. F**k windows 11. Seems like more annoying junk to disable now.
  21. If the price is right, going with ryzen 7000 could pay off good because of the future support for new CPU's plus a bit of better performance. You have some good options here.
  22. One of the better choices. I can confirm that the 5700X with a PBO OC is a very good workhorse.
