  1. Update: I decided to use Shinobi NVR software and am going to try out a Lorex LNB9272S ip cam.
  2. My guess is you don't have enough RAM. Davinci Resolve consumes lots of ram. Could you post a screenshot of the proformance tab in task manager?
  3. I'd just spend $40 more on a 3600. I haven't been able to find the 3300X in stock anywhere.
  4. Hello, Im looking for less than 10 4k IP cameras with good IR night vision. I dont care if they are made by Dahua or Hikvision or some other Chinese outfit as long as they are less than USD $250 and work well. They will be on a seperate vlan not connected to anything but the server so they cant call home. Im also struggling to find NVR software. It needs to have all the cameras show up on one web page and be able to record to hard drives in the server. Something like motion would work but i havent been able to find out what cameras work with it and which ones dont. I have a DL360p G8 running debian 10 (buster) with 2x E5-2640 (6c 12t each). I keep seeing Blue Iris mentioned a lot of places. If that is the way to go, can it be run on my debian server? I had looked into the UVC-G4 PRO's but they are expensive and unifi-video is not being developed anymore. Any advice will be appreciated, Andy
  5. Grabbed Mom's MK710. Works perfect! Thanks SOOO much for helping me! Andy
  6. @HuskyIs there a guide for updating the BIOS? Andy
  7. Thanks! The only non-wireless keyboards i seem to have are 2006 mac keyboards. Not sure if this is the problem, so ill a wireless one and try that first. Andy
  8. Bought it off ebay. Said it was "tested and functional"
  9. While i was researching the problem earlier, I noticed someone ssh ed into ILO to turn USB on. I tried this but the host was "unreachable". Im not sure if ILO is set up, but when i turn on the server it tells me the ILO ip. When i ping the ip it says its "unreachable". This is my first day owning a server so i dont know a lot. Andy
  10. Thanks for the reply! theres no ps/2 on the server mobo :((( @Crunchy Dragon Andy
  11. Hello, I recently purchased a used dl360p g8. Before the os, The keyboard doesnt work and the caps lock light dosent turn on. I tried multiple keyboards/usb ports. I removed the CMOS battery for a few minutes with no results. I tried installing debian, but the keyboard didnt work when i tried to start the installer. I managed to install ubuntu through a live cd. Wanted to ask for some help before i attempt to flash a new BIOS (cant remember exactly what hp calls it). Thanks! Andy
  12. Finished. I decided on the 3600 and b450 Aorus m. The build is exactly what I was wanting. Thanks 4 all ur help. Total cost including monitor and speakers was $600
  13. Thanks for info. It's a wraith stealth so we just turned the fan, not the heat sink. Everything is working very well. Thank you for all your help. I'll post a pic and full spec list when it's done. BTW the rgb ram looks AWESOME
  14. Is it possible for the CPU to become unseated while removing fan and installing it in a different direction?
