The Spectator got a reaction from ThePCRunners in Computer crash when get some work
If it is freezing then i would recommend re-installing the drivers. If it is having issues when under load it could be your powersupply.
Good Luck!

The Spectator reacted to gator81 in Thread for Linus Tech Tips Video Suggestions
I seen where he did a video creating an arcade machine, so how about a video creating a virtual digital pinball machine?
Look at this youtube video to follow up on the idea and it says freeware? so that is a plus!
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCD3jvaIJycBPtRKgl03cBbA is a link to the group for visual pinball
here is a link to a video for better info
Interesting to see if he can do this

The Spectator reacted to Kl33nex in New PC Build - Couple Of Initial Issues [RGB/Bluetooth]
I should have mentioned: I'm using an Asus PCE-AC55BT network bluetooth/wi-fi card.
After hours wasted and much frustration, I gave up on the speaker. Not to mention, my bluetooth keyboard is situated 'between' the computer and the speaker, therefore the signal started somehow interfering with that also!
I'm currently using a cheap 'n nasty basic USB keyboard. Ugh. Need to get myself some USB speakers. I'm so done with bluetooth.
As for the RGB. I'm using ICUE and simply re-enabled the two that had somehow disabled themselves. Seems to be fine now. Thanks.
However, I have no sweet clue how to change RGB on the motherboard or GPU. Hmm...

450W PSU seems low, I'd be pairing a 650W with it but that's just me. Usually you get maximum efficiency around the 80-85% utilisation.
240mm Cooler instead of 360 650W PSU Maybe a 512GB NVMe SSD and a 4TB HDD? Go 3700 instead of 3700X AMD system MB doesn't effect performance (other than ram compatibility), so a good Asus B450 board which supports 3200mhz would be fine which will save $. X570 is always a better choice, but at the moment the price of X570 boards is high.
With those changes you should be able to either squeeze a 2070 Super in or 32GB of RAM.

The Spectator reacted to rice guru in Which should i buy for the holidays?
Blon BL 03 if you want something with nice boomy bass. The KZ kxxs if you want something v shaped, stick with the tins if you want something neutral and flat with a hint of warmth. For gaming the t2 and blons are ok cause they have decent imaging and soundstage as iems

The Spectator reacted to Zusafek in PC works but its not booting
@Big-Boy Easy. Your running a 3rd gen Ryzen chip on a 2nd gen Ryzen motherboard. Update the bios on your motherboard to accept 3rd gen Ryzen CPUs.
Also you don't list a GPU. This CPU does not have integrated graphics. It needs a dedicated GPU.
And next time don't be snide in your posting. We understand that your frustrated but we ask the simple questions so we can assist you.

The Spectator got a reaction from Ben17 in PC shuts off under high load
With some higher wattage power supplies from not as-reputable brands they sometimes dont have the high wattage they advertize
(could be wrong)
Good Luck!

The Spectator got a reaction from Ben17 in PSU failure (I think)
I agree with this. when your Mobo lights up for those split seconds thats just an affect of switching it on i believe.
Good luck, and i hope all is well with your rig.

The Spectator got a reaction from Ben17 in CPU clocks droping
The Only thing i can think of is that your laptop charger cannot supply enough power to your battery and your GPU clocks drop to keep your system from crashing or a BSOD.
Willing to help as much as i can
Good Luck!

Ryzen is usually iffy with certain types of memory. Check your Motherboard Manual or the correct placement if you haven't already. I would take out the Right stick of memory and see if it boots, if not then take it out completely and boot and try to get into the bios. then put in both sticks and it usually boots. i just worked with this certain motherboard. its wacky. also make sure your connections to your display is good

The Spectator got a reaction from code99 in Worth selling my RTX2080 on used market and get a 2080Super?
I personally would either watercool it so you could get lower temps and overclock or just live with the beast of a card you have already. since the super line-up is just higher clock rates out of the box

The Spectator got a reaction from LillyYaGirl in New build not displaying anything (Ryzen 5, GTX 1050)
Reflash the Bios on the motherboard and if the GPU and the CPU both generate heat it would be either monitor and or another problem
Keep in mind Power------->Component======Heat (which doesn't guarantee it works)
Good Luck!

The Spectator reacted to WoodenMarker in Case Fan Recommendation
They seem alright. The system should be pretty easy to cool though. If you're mainly doing it for the aesthetics of having plenty of fans, that works.
