  1. I have had this Foxconn Am3 Motherboard for a while now and has worked until I was removing the stock cooler and was wiggling it like usual to remove the cooler (i had arctic silver 5 applied). And then... (this where it all goes wrong) I ACCIDENTLY pulled the processor out of the socket with the cooler. I was slightly concerned and quickly check for any bent pins and cosmetic damages. what troubles me now is how the retention arm/ lever was down when I ripped out the CPU. I tested it earlier and it booted to the bios and then shut it down by shorting the power switch io pins. when I rebooted it did not post but it generates heat and draws power. I have no clue now what to do. is the CPU damaged or the motherboard? Also, does the CPU cooler need to be clamped down to boot since it required pressure?

Ultrawide monitor setup (only 60hz instead of 120hz)

The 780 might be not enough for a monitor like that, all types of display cables have limitations so, I would recommend DisplayPort 1.4 which can handle almost any resolution and or refresh rate

    GTX 1080 power draw?

First, I would check pcpartpicker for the load wattage and if you were to overclock I would give an extra 50W at least.

    PC streaming setup?

I don't believe that you would need a powerful GPU in the streaming pc but it is good to have one, I don't think you need one though. if you did only use integrated graphics then using a quiet cooler for the CPU would be good due to the fact that making the least noise while streaming is a good thing.

    PC streaming setup?

The newest 9th gen i3 processor is comparable to older generation i5 processors but I believe that it could handle streaming as a secondary computer since it has 4 cores and threads. newest 9th generation processors use lga 1151 but only go back a year or two with compatibility if you are looking to use a motherboard you own currently. what would you use the GPU for streaming or gaming? Also, you're fine about all the questions, you came to the right place!

Cheaper Corsair iCue enabled fans alternative?

There isn't a much cheaper alternative but corsairs sp fans are the cheapest icue fans. I dont know what else to recommend

NZXT AER on MSI B450 Gaming Pro

If the Connectors are the same for the rgb header and the controller it should work fine

    Case Fan Recommendation

I was also looking at these since they are cheap, match the look and are quiet https://www.amazon.com/Antec-F12-Performance-Noise-Value/dp/B07PFBPHL6/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=antect+f12&qid=1563593905&s=gateway&sr=8-1-spell

    Case Fan Recommendation

I am currently looking for some white case fans on a budget any recommendations? should I keep the ones I currently have or swap them all out so they match (6 in total)
  12. if the hub in the picture doesn't have some sort of special input and uses 3 or 4-pin straight to the hub that seems fine

    Laptop Cooling help!

Either you could keep looking for exactly what you want or, you could take one apart and flip the fans so they could blow air
  14. Budddy1

    Which Should I Buy

It Depends, if you have a motherboard that supports ryzen 3000 and has good vrm and heatsinks go for the r5 3600. if you have a motherboard that doesnt support ryzen 3000 go for the r7 2700x. overall if you want a couple more cores and threads get the r7 2700x but its all up to you
