If anyone DOES decide to talk to any companies about this issue, remember to record the problem with an OUTSIDE camera (For example, your phone). Don’t record gameplay using the affected device itself, it won’t show up on the screen of an unaffected device, making whoever’s seeing it claim that you’re it looks fine on their end and you’re just seeing things. I don’t think this is a Nvidia issue, as it appears on EVERY single device that uses a 3d engine...

Honestly, it’s hard not to give up hope. I’ve had this issue for the past 9 months, while some have had it for YEARS. It appears to occur at different times, and once it’s there, it’s to stay, and if you find a solution, God bless your soul, it can return at ANYTIME. It’s on my phone, Xbox, everything. The only option we have is to wait until it affects some famous person, maybe then the issue will be resolved.

This has to be the most strange phenomenon. This issue for me started Early December of 2018, but it seems to occur randomly. Sadly once it starts, it’s impossible to get rid of. Let me bust a few facts real quick, though.

-Buying a new computer WON’T fix it. Every computer I got since it started has had the issue. Although, don’t let this trick you into thinking “Maybe it’s been there this whole time, and I’m just realizing it.” Trust me, it hasn’t. You’re just like the rest of us, it happened overnight. Don’t let ANYONE tell you it’s in your head.

-It seems to spread through electricity, somehow. For example, this occurred while I was living at my University. Even though it’s the summer and I’m home, it’s still here.

-Updating your graphics driver/rolling them back will NOT fix it. Don’t let anyone try to suggest that either. It’s just a waste of time. This issue is a lot more complex then we know and needs PROFESSIONAL attention if we wanna HOPE that it gets solved.

We need to gain the attention of people. So spread this forum on as many big tech youtubers as possible. It’s completely unfair that we pay hundreds to thousands of dollars for these devices to have to go through this, because to me, at least, it makes them unplayable!

I think another problem with this is that many more gamers have this, they just don’t realize it. I noticed it on my friend’s Xbox and my cousin’s Xbox too (I live in Jersey), but they don’t recognize it as a problem. They think it’s normal. They don’t have sensitive eyes like we do. If more people realized that this is in fact NOT normal, we’d be able to get more help I think.

In order to get the proper recognition for this problem, we need to spread it on other forums. The reason why we’re getting nowhere is because the only place that this issue is recognized for EXACTLY what it is (Being a completely randomly triggered phenomenon). We need to also mention that it’s not only a pc problem, that it’s on phones and consoles too. That will help enormously, as you can’t debug graphical settings on consoles and phones like you can on PC, so it’ll silence anybody saying “Your settings aren’t configured right.”  REMEMBER, record the issue with an OUTSIDE CAMERA. Don’t use screenshots or screen recorded footage, as it won’t show up on unaffected hardware.

Well, I’m sorry but you’re wrong. I appreciate your kindness and your willingness to look into the issue, and I also appreciate how you didn’t just flat out say we’re Imagining things, but this is no figment of our imaginations. This is real. The fact that so many people have the same exact story (It happened overnight) is proof that it’s real. it also happens on games on my phone. I myself thought I may be going crazy until I found this forum. You can tweak settings to make it look less noticeable (which will lower performance) but trust me, it’s a REAL issue that IS there.

Well, time to join the club I guess. The problem started overnight on my Acer nitro laptop. Tried every method in the book and nothing worked. I sent it back and forth to Acer over a course of 7 months to no avail. I then saved my money and got an Alienware 15 r4 laptop and it’s STILL there. Like, why hasn’t anyone found a fix? It’s like nobody cares about it at all.
