In that case, give Samsung Magician a try.

If the drive is fully dead not really. You could see if Samsung will replace the drive. The worst they can say is no.

can you post screenshot from crystaldiskinfo of it?

This looks more like NAND failure, rather than the NAND wear, from bugged firmware. But need more info.
Usually SSD will go to the read only mode in case of the NAND failure, so you won't boot OS from it, but you should be able to get the data.
Run some liveCD OS, and copy it somewhere, if it's visible.

Yes sure its possible but will be clunky.

Like you just get 2 gpu's for blender like a 3060 12gb and then whatever else for yhe game for example and just tell blender to render only with the 3060.

And thr cpu wont be used  ecause well gpu rendering is WAAAY faster.

As for cpu splitting you can assign some cores but blender or basically any software wont know what a p or e core is. Windows schedules them but its a bit wonky sometimes.

    Sure you can do that.

I'd probably go dual 4090s here. Then if you want to render at higher speeds you can with the second GPU.

I'd probably game off the P cores, and if your doing GPU rendering the CPU is doing very little so there would be almost no benfit to manually assigning cores.

I was about to say the same thing. I'd recommend the Corsair RM850e (2023) 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply, but you can check out some good and bad PSU here

I would highly reccomend the 6800XT/7800XT since it's similar performance with more VRAM. Depending on the pricing though. I'd say the 6800XT 10%-15% cheaper to make up for the lack of ray tracing performance DLSS however, FSR3 may be able to close that gap to 5%-10%

I assume you meant the 7800X3D. I've never heard of the 7700X3D.

The Motherboard seems like way overkill if all you're going to be doing is gaming and here in the US is WAY overpriced in my opinion. Depending on the savings there, you may even be able to grab a higher tier Graphics card maybe the 7900XT???

Some speed and saving could be had if you go for the TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB 32 GB since it has lower latency at the same speed, but again availability and pricing in your region take precedence

    Everything else seems solid

Fairphone is an excellent phone because:
It cares for people and planet by using fair and recycled materials, improving working conditions, and reducing CO2 emissions. It is built to last with a long hardware and software warranty, modular parts, and easy access to support. It gives you a choice of operating systems, including /e/OS, a privacy-friendly and de-googled syste. It lets you recycle your old phone and reduce the waste.

CPU fans can be turned off in the BIOS. This cooler is very good so the fans don't need to spin very fast to keep it cool. Under load you're probably not even going to hear it if you set up the fan curve properly.

About the PSU fan, that only starts spinning under a certain amount of load which may not even be reached with this PC. Even if it would be, the fans would be so quiet you're not going to hear it.

Don't think it's an issue with the SN570. Seems like it also went up in price, but the PNY CS3030 is a solid alternative.

What's its going to be used for? I'm not sure how you'd get 3070 performance without sucking down a decent amout of power, and id look at a 12400f, should be cooler and less power hungry than a 5700x

DG House reacted to Pixelfie in ultra silent gaming PC
What about this? It has a slower (but more efficient) CPU, and a slower SSD which she probably won't even notice. I went for a CPU cooler with a fan. You can set it up so it doesn't spin until it reaches a certain temp. The Be Quiet fans are not far behind the Noctua but still half the price. The Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6700 XT has one of the best coolers and the 6700 XT is an amazing GPU. I went with a cheaper PSU too, not really any reason to get such an expensive one.

Also a tip I have for low noise (and also low power consumption) is to undervolt the CPU and GPU. This makes a pretty big difference. Do make sure to set up fan curves too, because usually they're a bit aggressive (especially the CPU one)

I'd go for AMD on the gpu front because they seem to be the more efficient ones this gen, I think a 6700xt/6750xt will be good.

I think getting a fanless psu is also a bit overkill because the gpu fans will spin while gaming anyway (thus overpowering the very quiet psu anyway) so getting a semi passive one like the Seasonic TX-850 is not only cheaper but she'll also fall better in the efficiency curve saving a bit of power.

You should actually just enable PBO2 and undervolt that. With my 5900x I get an all core of about 4.625 and single or 2 cores over 5ghz as needed with this method.

    Follow this guide/tutorial.

DG House reacted to LIGISTX in 5900x undervolting overclocking
I mean.... thats sort of how overclocking works. You have to figure out where your specific chip lands on the scale of total turd to golden sample.... no one else can do that for you.

Overclocking takes time to get it dialed in just right; the 10700k in my sig took a solid 1.5 weeks to get dialed in perfectly, and the 9900k before it took about as long, 8700k before that, 6700k, 4700, 3770k, 2700k, i7 920, e6750, and Pentium D I forget the model number before that.

It takes time to dial it in. I don't know as much about AMD and how they respond to voltage and frequency, but if they typically are able to run faster with an undervolt, start with stock volts and see how far you can push it, then start dialing the voltage down. If things get unstable, either up the voltage or drop the clocks. You will pretty quickly get a sense of where the chip falls and will be able to adjust your target accordingly.

I understand what you're after, a good starting point. Totally get it, and that is where I start as well when I start learning a new platform. But I pretty much guarantee a few quick googles will provide plenty of guides for what others were able to get on their chips. You just have to try and figure out from all of the different sources of data what seems to be the middle ground and start there, and hope your chip is better than average. That is why it takes a few weeks to get a OC dialed, there is usually 4-5 days and many hours of reaching and watching videos, followed by 4-5 days of trial and error quickly learning the chips capabilities, testing for stability, dialing it in better, etc.

as others have said. You already have your starting point. it's turning on pbo2 and undervolting. that will get best overall result. unless you want to sacrifice single thread perf and do a simple all core OC locking the frequency at say, 4.7 or 8. Which again would be pretty dumb unless you happen to be constantly using CPU for heavy 24/7 task. And hope you have great cooling. It's not more complicated than that.
