i5 2400 GTX950 My budget is around 40$

I cant buy a psu box-packed as only Junky Units are available and they are ridiculously over priced. So i can only buy Used psu's. Currently these are available to buy 1)CX430 v2 2)VX450 3)VS450 (Its a bad one i've heard)

So i just remembered that the problem started when there was a heavy rain that caused the house lights to flicker. And PC restarted in that weather. Hmmm So its been raining for 2 days and the problem is much more often in damp condition.

So its been almost 5 months since i upgraded my pc and been experiencing from Restart under load/gaming. I literally changed everything. I upgraded the socket from 775 to 1155 so also ram got upgraded. I replaced my new RX560D with a 950. I replaced the PSU (Cooler master elite 400) to Antec 520w High current gamer.(I cant buy Box packed PSU as they are not available in my area and are ridiculously overpriced in online websites. Like a Thermal take Litepower 400w for 60$) But still it didn't stop the problem. This is so annoying like i tried everything and nothing seems to work. The problem of restart was almost gone (I mean it had became very less often) last month but now it is occuring very oftenly. I really dont know what to do.I am completely out of options. Can it be due to the voltage issue in my area (IDK if there is any) But my previous pc (Q6600 and GTX650) ran fine with a Bad psu (CiT 480w) and i never experienced any problems with it. Any suggestions?

msi GTX 950 OCV3 2gb. I reason i want to do a lil'bit of OC is that i get around 60 Fps(Capped) on Dying Light at high But sometimes drops to around 57-58 due to High number of things happening

I increased the power Limit to 110% and Core Clock and Memory Clock to +108 and +136 respectively but it crashed. Now i have decreased the Pwr Limit to 107% and same coreclock and Memory Clock and it did'nt crashed yet I am just scared that my gpu will burn or will die . That thing just scare me too much. I bought this gpu with so much saving from school money (And remained hungry for it xD) Anyway, IS IT SAFE? ==Temps==== They are pretty good I think Max is around 65 or 70 ===== I just cant risk this gpu , Its my life

I am having some random FPS drops even not GPU nor CPU is being maxed out. My Specs are quite old : (But OK for the games i play) i5 2400 8 gb ram 1333mhz GTX 950 OC (Factory OC'ed) ======================== So , Just wanted to report a weird thing also. If i am getting around 150 fps in Realm Royale at High. But it drops to around 130-140 for a moment every 10 seconds.(Never goes below that). If i cap the fps with V-sync "ON" then it still drops from 60 for no reason ================== 1) Any idea how to fix it?(I am suspecting that it maybe my HDD) 2)What's the most stable Overclock for my "msi Gtx 950 OCV3"

I think that is due to a old driver ( The 5000 and 6000 series don't get driver updates now) The last one is from maybe Feb 2016

So my i5-2400 has a base clock at 3.1 Ghz and a Turbo of 3.4 Ghz. But under load my processor does not exceed 3.3 Ghz , Hence not turbo boosting to max (3.4 Ghz) I know 100 mhz on 4 cores wont make much difference but i still want that. I 've seen many users getting 3.4 Ghz while gaming and also if you go to userbench test there are many users who are getting full speed. ==== CPU temps are quite low. It is 32 at idle and 55 at load. === Is there any settings to disable at BIOS? Like CPU C STATES?

Can i do it inside the OS?

Is there anyway i can OC my i5-2400 on Intel DQ67SW motherboard? Like i only want to go from 3.1 Ghz to 3.3 Ghz. If not , Then Can i increase Processor's Turbo Speed?

I just wanna ask that "Does the Dual Channel matter in old sockets?' Like i am using a i5 2400 (LGA 1155). Will the dual channel config make any difference. I am currently using a 2GB x 2 sticks and 1 x 4gb stick. So its not in Dual channel? I am asking because i am getting low fps as compared to others on youtube and ====I am getting severe fps drops on every game where Not CPU not GPU is on full usage.

It cant be the motherboard. I have replaced it 4 times (1 in upgradation tho)

well i replaced ram around 5 times or so. So that will rule ram out. PSU? Are u sure? Cz it should be a mother of coincedence that Both PSU had same problems

CPU never goes more than 60 C Same story with the GPU's. Yes it restarts in Stress tests.

NO BSODS or anything Just screen goes black and it restarts. Its like Plugging from outlet and instantly plugging in

So flashback to July the 21th I got myself a RX560 4gb for my Q9650. I got a Cooler Master Elite 400w psu to replace my CiT 480w (I gave it to my friend) I had a restart while i was playing PES 2020 (August maybe) SO i took out the CM 400w and replaecd it with a Antec HCG 520(Both Used) (Please note that Its very very difficult to get Box packed PSU in my country also they are Double the price if available). But still i was having Restarts while gaming. I literally tried everything But it went all in vain. I changed my Mobo 3 times (Which costed 30$) But this was unsuccesfull as i still got restart under load. I changed my Processor , My ram But stil "NO" Now i have changed my GPU to a GTX950 2gb from "msi" and upgraded to a LGA 1155 i3 2120. But still getting this problem. I am so done with it now.I am a school student and my Parent wont gimme even a buck for my PC upgradation So i have to save and upgrade it myself. I spent around 300$ for this PC (Way Over Priced). But Still it wont work and thats making me disappointed. I literally tried everything . Changed ALL THE PARTS. But Still don't work. So i am facing very weird situation.I don't know how to explain this but will try my best. So when i run the game and Play a match Its silky smooth without any stutterings or hiccups.(I locked fps to 60 through Double Buffered Vsync) In the second match i get some stutterings and fps drops. Stuttering increases with the matches i play. Every brand has its cheap and expensive offerings. Like msi gives you number of options. Their Highest tier is Gaming X and lowest is OC (Idk whats it called) Asus has ROG as its Highest tier and Phoenix as its lowest. So you can find cheap models of these brands also. And Yes Go for a 2070
