I know I know but I kind of need it within the time frame of a month (usually how long it takes to get it from amazon anyway) Also the dorm I am going down is "Laptop only"

I would like to purchase a great gaming laptop as a computer is not going to be an option once I go to college in the next few months... (This is going to be my graduation present as my parents gave me a budget of 2,000-2,300 to spend) I would Prefer that it would have a really great graphics chip. AMD or NIVIDA I don't mind either. (the 880M sounds nice) -Preferred 1 TB of hard drive memory -Preferred 128gb-250gb boot drive SSD (If this is not there it is ok because I can add one later. Not really an issue) -My only other preference is it is from amazon. This is because Amazon has 1 year financing with their amazon card, if you know another company that offers financing for 12 months or more feel free to include them too. I know this is very vague but that is because I want to know what you guys think is the best because I know this is the best place to ask computer questions! One more thing: Preferred screen size of 14"-18" anything between that range Thank you for help in making my purchase happen!

Exactly what I told him... Anyway thanks!

There is no way I can talk him out of it. His brain is a brick wall when it comes to spending money, when he sets a budget he intends to hit it > _> Edit: He likes it (hes going to swap out windows 8 for 7 Ultimate. (Please don't ask why I don't honestly know )

God that's a lot of video card Thank you though I will see if he likes this (also again, none of this is for me. All for my father)
-
He is insisting on it, tried to convince him otherwise. He even tried to shove a 4960X

Hello, this is my first post and the main reason why I joined these forums. I would like to build a complete computer from the ground up. Excluding the Keyboard mouse speakers and other components. Just ONE monitor and the computer please. -Just some preferences, and back story I would prefer the color scheme to be either all red or all blue. whites and blacks are OK and at least one led strip would be nice. Preferred case is the 400R from Corsair Please no water cooling, Closed loop is ok (H100i), but open loop or resevor types is a no go for me. Edit: one Optical drive that supports Blue ray +3D 2nd Edit: One 3TB hard drive and a small-ish SSD for a boot drive. At this point that's all for the computer its self _________________________________________________________ As for the monitor I would prefer below 4k (not willing to drop 3 grand on a 4k monitor) but something like a 1440k - below 4k would be ok. Also the monitor has to support 120Hz or better because he would like 3D Nivida support on games. That is all and I am hoping to hear back from the people here!
