Budget (including currency): 1000 Country: United State Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Keyshot, SolidWorks, Blender, Photoshop, Sketchbook Pro Other details: At the moment, I'm using 2 laptops to work. MSI GP60 w/GT840M and my main lenovo P40 workstation w/ Quadro m600. I'm an Industrial Designer and sketching and rendering is all I do, so I need a PC for me to use rendering software and CAD. I'm also planning to get in to VR 3D building soon using gravity sketch or other upcoming VR building software. In terms of gaming, I still want a capable PC that I can play most of the games in the next couple years in 1080P. I attached the keyshot/blender system requirement and a build list I put together to see if you guys could help me lower the price without losing too much performance. You guys could just send me a list or tell me if this is a good time to build a new PC. Hey Linus followers. I'm a college students that uses Soildworks and Keyshot pretty much daily and I need y'all help to get some good recommendation to build a PC. I have a budget of around 1k US and not sure if i need a Quadro or Firepro card for soildworks. But I know that Quadro cards don't have the best gaming capability, so I aint sure if I need a SLI quadro and RTX/GTX. This is gonna be my first ever computer build, so I need all the help I can get. :)) Happy holiday and new year

I saw the review for the 3rd gen and 5700 cards but would they run well with SolidWorks and render other than triangles?

hello LTT viewers! I'm new to the forum and have been a regular LTT watcher for a while, but never join the forum. I'm coming here today because I need you guy's to help me in building a workstation. I'm an industrial design student and other then gaming occasionally I have to Sketch, build Solidworks 3D model, keyshot, fusion 360, Vray and rhino ETC. I've never built a PC of my life and only have been buying laptops (MSI GP60, Lenovo P40 yoga), so I'm still a NOOB on the desktop side. My budget is around $1000 and doesn't know if this price is honestly even possible (due to how pricy Quadro cards are)...if you guys or LTT workers see this, please help (a PC part picker link or a list would be greatly appreciated) Thanks for reading
