  1. No it's the other way around. And yes the vpn server is listening to the port of the client.
  2. Ubuntu 18.04 vm (AWS Lightsail)
  3. Node one can communicate with node two (like outgoing traffic) but node two can't communicate with node one (like incoming traffic) I have made sure no firewalls are blocking this port. Also what do you mean by certificates? SSL works fine.
  4. Hey! I am new to openvpn and it seems kind of straight forward, but I'm stuck right now at trying to make a pear to pear connection. What I'm trying to do is host a web server on node one (192.168.7.69) and then on node two (192.168.6.59) is where there is a different public ip address so I can route all of the traffic that goes from node two to node one so anyone who goes to the public ip address of node 2 can see the web server that I'm hosting at node 1 (kind of like it's on the same network). I have it currently set up so node two is my openvpn server and node one is my client. So I want them to communicate between each other. How would I do this? EDIT: This is not just a web server it also acts as a mail server.
  5. All of the above + vrooooooooooooooooooom hahaha
  6. Hey, I have a Corsair cx750 and I have been using it for about 3 years so far. While my pc is idling it starts to make a weird buzzing noise for a minute and then goes away. This happens every 30 minutes to hour. Should I be concerned?
  7. Im currently only running an r610, but it only has 2.5" slots. I found a Dell R720 that could possibly work. It has 3.5" hard drive slots.
  8. I have also been looking at the server from savemyserver on Ebay. Might possibly choose a R720 because it has 3.5" slots for hard drives and a full 16x slot.
  9. Do you guys have any good rack mountable nas server solutions? Looking for 4-8bay 3.5 inch server. $275 budget. Any ideas?
  10. Hey! I want to create an NVR server (rack mountable) and the software that was for the NVR required a somewhat good graphics card (750 ti), so this server would need a full 16x slot and I am currently having trouble finding a server with one. My budget for a used server currently maxes out at around $400.
  11. It really sucks that ISPs don't really care about upload for the people like us. There's only one current possible solution to this currently. Fiber (That I know of)
  12. Do you think calling W.O.W and asking them if they can do anything to upgrade my upload speed would do anything other than just telling me to upgrade plans?
  13. 1. Make sure your 8pin is secured. If it's only drawing 71W, it could be pulling that from the MB and you might have just not inserted the 8 pin connector properly. 2. Make sure there isn't a leakage 3. Try plugging into a different port on the graphics card (could be a problem with the port) 4. Have you inspected the card for any damage?
  14. Yea, I'm hosting two websites plus an occasional live stream with about 10mbps up. ??
  15. So basically I can just request for W.O.W to send me two coax cables and then get the same upload and download? Lol (This probably wouldn't really go very well)
  16. Ok, this has probably been said many times but, why is having a good upload with W.O.W (Or any other similar ISP) so expensive. Any upload speed above 50mbps, and they make you switch to business fiber. wtf?
  17. server shutdown. Funding ran out lol.
  18. But if you don’t overclock your system works correctly?
  19. Hey! I already have wordpress installed on a lamp stack and just for the hell of it, I want to install something else. Do you guys have any ideas of what to install onto a lamp stack? Are there any "templates" other than wordpress that use a LAMP stack?
  20. Oh. Make sure to do your research before buying this, so you don't buy something that goes bad in a year. If you're not sure I would get an AIO from Corsair.
  21. If you have the extra money to spend, and know your AIO is gonna fit in your case, then get it. Just remember if your planning to use this for a long time (5 or more years) then I would just get an air cooler as they tend to last longer.
  22. If your going to use a cooler for a long time, then I recommend getting an air cooler, as from personal experience, they tend to last longer. I'm not really sure about 240/280mm aio coolers because I've only used one 120mm aio personally.
