  1. Yep. Waited about a half hour and it still didn’t work. It’s really weird because if I install a Ryzen 2000 it works perfectly fine. The ram led on the mobo lights up for ~10 sec then the cpu led for less than a second, then repeats. Gigabyte gives no other information other than if the led is on the part isn’t working
  2. Doesn’t work. They only way that works is switching the psu off
  3. I know that, I meant if I turn it on and it Doesn’t boot, how do I turn it off? Last time it was just sitting with the fans and rgb going crazy so I flipped the psu off. Was that bad? How do I do it properly?
  4. I have a 2x8 gb Corsair kit at 3200mhz
  5. How do I safely turn off the pc if it doesn’t boot? Do I switch off the psu? My power button doesn’t work when this happens
  6. I recently bought a Ryzen 3700x. The mobo is a gigabyte X470 ultra gaming and it’s on the current bios (f40). It work completely fine with the Ryzen 2600 but when I put in the 3700x the dram led on the mobo lights up meaning the ram is not detected/working. Any ideas on how to fix it?
  7. A bit off topic, I’m trying to get my Ryzen 3700x to work with the gigabyte x470 ultra gaming mobo. I properly got it to boot with a Ryzen 2600, installed win10 and updated the bios. But when I put in the 3700x my mobo ram led light lit up and I don’t know how to fix it. I thought you could help as you got yours to boot
  8. I used my friends Ryzen 2000 cpu and updated everything in that order. Everything was fine. But when I swapped the Ryzen 3000 into the mobo it wouldn’t boot and had the dram led on. Also the power button wouldn’t turn it off. Any ideas how to fix it? To turn it off I had to switch off the psu and I don’t know if that was good or not. All of my fans spin and everything just doesn’t boot. I’m kind of freaking out right know because I don’t know how I f’ed up
  9. What is ECWF and do I update it the same way as bios?
  10. Yes I have all of the parts on their way. Thanks for the help!
  11. I just bought the gigabyte X470 ultra gaming and a Ryzen 3700x. Would I be able to update the bios without a cpu? I couldn’t find the information anywhere. Also do I have to update each bios or can I just go for the latest one. And is there any thing else I would have to do before/after to make it compatible with 3rd gen Ryzen? This is my first pc build so I know very little about this stuff. Thanks!
