  1. I took the photo with hdr to make sure it's not exaggerated, and it does actually look like how it does irl, and it bothers me when watching media, it's very visible in darker scenes and terribly visible from angles
  2. How do I know what level is acceptable and what isn't
  3. Recently bought an Ultragear monitor, I noticed the panel is very glossy/reflective, the colors are much warmer than any other monitor I have, and there is IPS glow and backlight bleed, is that normal for the monitor? or should I return it? I did expect some amount of backlight bleed but idk how much is too much. I've read the backlight bleed may be because a 144 hz IPS monitor needs a stronger backlight than a normal monitor and it seems that the greenish tint is apparently because LG's panels lean to the warmer side, I don't really know though, Here is a pic showing the issue:
  4. Alright, thanks, any tips on things I can do to make sure the battery is okay and call it a day?
  5. In this video, the poco F3 went from 36% to 70% in 15 minutes In this video, the poco F3 went from 38% to 73% in 20 minutes In this video, the poco F3 went from 37% to 70% in 15 minutes I don't really understand why mine is marginally faster (in terms of charging) than the poco F3 in all these vids, I feel like something is wrong
  6. I've bought a brand-new Xiaomi Poco F3 3 days ago and I noticed that it's charging suspiciously quickly, like, it would go from 35% to 75% in only 15 minutes when I use the 33w fast charger that came with the phone. Is that a normal behavior or should I be concerned? could it indicate a problem in the phone's battery? I can return it if that's the case.
  7. I recorded that by putting my phone's mic near the case's front panel (where the HDD is placed), I had to amplify it to 800% because otherwise you'd not be able to hear it, so that's why you can hear the ambient noises, and that metal ding sound you heard was my mom putting a spoon away at the kitchen, which is 2 rooms away. How should a normal HDD sound like? and why does the SMART status look fine if it's about to die?
  8. I recently bought a WD Blue WD40EZRZ, it is a 4 TB 5400 RPM HDD Right now, I have a slight concern, it makes this whirring clicking-like noise when it is doing some task, is that normal? Right now, the SMART status seems pretty normal, 0 reallocated sectors and 0 uncorrectable sectors This is what it sounds like when it is writing random bytes in CrystalDiskMark Edit: link on Vocaroo if you don't wanna download it: https://vocaroo.com/18Ceq00ZzNqV Voice 004_sd-MP3MusicAmplifier
  9. ye, I think there is no 7200 RPM 4 TB HDD that won't make me pay a lot, guess I'll have to stick with what I have
  10. so it won't make much of a difference in open world games like gta online or RDR2?
  11. Hi, I recently bought the WDC WD40EZAZ-19SF3B0, it's a 5400 RPM 4 TB HDD, at first I thought it was 7200 RPM because my other WD Blue 1 TB HDD is 7200 RPM, but after I opened the box and put it on my PC and format a partition on it I found out it's 5400 RPM. Will that RPM difference affect my game performance? I don't really care about load times, will it affect my in-game performance? since I already opened it and used it I'll have to pay to return it (I think), so I wonder if it'd be worth it or not. Also, here's its CrystalDiskMark score
  12. well, did it reach max clock (1244 MHz stock) on the default power limit? because for some mine doesn't unless I undervolt it or increase the power limit (or both)
  13. Yep, I thought it was an RX 570 until you pointed out it's supposed to have an 8-pin connector, after doing some research I found out the 470 has a 6-pin, not the 570, I'll also try to decrease the power limit as much as possible while still getting an acceptable performance, I thought the GPU was not supposed to draw more power than it needs even if you let it by increasing the power limit
  14. I think the reason it has a 6 pin connector instead of an 8 is because it's maybe an RX 470 with a 570 BIOS flashed to it, not entirely sure, but I saw the XFX RX 470 has a 6 pin connector, the PSU is rated 408W on 12v
  15. So is it possible that so much power can probably kill the GPU because of burning the SMDs? I think this GPU is an XFX RX 470 with a 570 BIOS flashed to it
