  1. So I just upgraded from an 8600k and 1070Ti. It played Elden Ring perfectly on decent settings without and kind of stutter. Now I upgraded to a 12700k and 6750XT and the game has a constant stutter, like nonstop, plays worse than my old pc. Anyone know how to fix this?
  2. Budget (including currency): Country: Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I'm building a new computer this year (if GPU prices continue to fall). I need a case that can hold 2x 360mm radiators with push/pull configuration so there needs to be plenty of space above the motherboard. Please give me some recommendations, thanks.
  3. Yeah it's pretty much just up to luck of the silicon lottery.
  4. Set CPU fan speed to ignore. I forget where it is in the bios but it shouldn't be hard to find.
  5. Don't set the speed manually. Activate your XMP or DOCP profile for you RAM in the bios.
  6. Why are you running prime95 with a stock cooler? Your hitting the thermal max for the CPU which will shut down the PC.
  7. I'm looking at this Nvidia Inspector program. I have not downloaded it yet but from videos it seems like it has a lot of options that you can tweak. Are there any settings that you would recommend I try changing?
  8. I've got 3D Mark links cause HWBot does not compare exact system specs, only 1 single component. So lets say you check scores for a 1060, it will show you scores obtained with 3770k's and Threadrippers all in 1 scoreboard, kinda pointless. Not to mention HWBot allows LOD tweaks and other tweaks that is arguably cheating.
  9. So yesterday Planetside 2 got a new patch and I wanted to play. But my fps in game was locked to 60fps, even though my monitor was running at 75Hz, my overclocking utility was also set to 75 fps. I have tried toggling in game settings such as Vsync and Smoothing, but it changes nothing. So I wake up today, update my graphics drivers and try to play the game again. Except now there's a completely different problem. Instead of being locked to 60fps, my fps is now locked to the maximum. I'm getting like 140fps and no matter what I try, I cannot get it to sync with my monitor. Once again I double and triple checked all of my settings in game and out of game. But nothing seems to work. Now some of you may say to just keep it at max fps, who cares. Well the coil whine is pretty extreme, it also causes my fans to ramp up to like 80%. So it is just very annoying in general. Someone please help me fix this shit.
  10. Get the 5700XT. RT Cores are a joke for gaming if you ask me.
  11. There should be a "Reset to Default Settings" option in most motherboards.
  12. It is a significant amount of money. But most watches do not depreciate like cars do, I will be purchasing it used. So I expect the watch to retain its value pretty well.
