    If bandwidth is an issue, you can always save some more by using an adblocker.   That way you don't have to see the picture at all. 
     
    But yeah, it is indeed kinda unnecessary to have a gazillion pixel image for a 300x350 banner.  It's an easy mistake to make though, perhaps they forgot to resize the picture before saving it and didn't notice that they put the big one in the site.
    That's the downsize of modern sitebuilding tools.  Back in my sitebuilding days (when CRT and 1024x768 was still common) we still wrote the html for our websites in notepad, so you really knew you effed up when you inserted a gigantic image instead of the smaller one;

    good point, it's almost like the SLI argument for graphics cards. Two cards WILL (or yknow, should) be better than one, but not TWICE as good.

    The J key. I have a short in my keyboard or something and the Led is much brighter on that key than anywhere else.
