Actually no! It was all hand made with a drill and a sanded. here are some pics. 
 

Hello everyone! I am back! And so is the raspberry pi laptop! Its finally finished! 

Here it is! screen works. battery works. wifi speakers keyboard touchpad everything works.

Finally get to write this post and call the project completed!  It's been about a year since I started this project, starting from simple CAD models all the way to this finished product.  I am VERY happy with the end result.

I want to thank all the sponsors who provided me with various parts and services over the year, you really helped make this build possible!

Will go through a Pascal refresh, though if you think this was interesting, stay tuned for the next build. Its already turning out to be epic!

So Old OC applied again, 4.4ghz on all 6 @ 1.325v (might be able to dial back I can't remember) and +150mhz on the GPU core.
 
Ran Real Bench for a test, but have run OCCT and 3D mark and results are the same.
 
Considering I have an ambient of around 30+ degrees at the moment and the pump is barely flowing water. I'll call this a solid effort.

Bought a Nissan 2005 X-Trail and it came with a cassette and CD deck... It looked soo dated haha I'm used to having a navi in my other car.... So I decided instead of spending $800+ on a GPS Double din.... why not put in a tablet instead! I've seen it done before and LOVED the idea.... So here is my install Very pleased with it
 

 
Bone Stock....BORING!!!     Finished Product!   Looks killer!      I have the charged hooked up to the ACC and TASKER installed on the tablet..so when it gets power, the tablet turns on and screen stays on, also have a task to turn on BT, GPS, launch GPS / Music player etc and once the power is cut TASKER puts the tablet in airplane mode and turns off the screen and kills all the apps   I installed a JVC deck in there as well to make life a bit easier... Didn't want rewire everything and amp everything... they way I have phone bluetooth, IPOD, CD and the tablet thru AUX or even BT aswell   Soo... anyone else use a tablet in their vehicles??

Pulled out the rattlecan to touch up some of the work i've been doing.
 
First up was the radiator, unfortunately so much work has knocked the fins around a bit but nothing you'll see when it's all together. I might still throw some paint over the fins yet.

 

 
The modified AMD CPU mount got the same treatment.

 
I also put the EK heatspreaders on the memory, gee they look good...

 

 
Waiting 1 delivery and then I should almost be ready to power this thing back up. Fingers crossed it posts...

The ASrock X99e-ITX/ac "black and bling' edition

So time to tackle another niggle.
 
If you're familiar with the ASRock X99E-ITX you know it doesn't use the standard 2011(2011-3) mounting pattern which is  90x90mm, instead it uses a slim ILM mount usually found in servers, that's 100x75mm.
 
Because of this I had to modify the standard mounting hardware that came with the Kelvin S24. I thought I could get away with using the AMD mounting hardware which to my eye looks like its drilled for 100mmx70mm, so close, just enough to be a pain in the ass.
 
Having no issues with cutting up the AMD mounts I cut out the sides of the mount and then just used some aluminium plate across the top. Simple, but we don't need to make it more complicated than it has to be...
 
It's not pretty at the moment, (and I actually got it so hot while cutting it melted the paint on the stock bracket and imprinted into my plastic table) but a bit of black rattlecan should have it blending in nicely, also I think a decent job for a dremel and hand file.

So this is the left side of the case if your looking at the back of the case . so manage to put chloroform in the acrylic too bad the other pc wasn't been chloroformed because my syringe was damage the rubber part of it got torn to shreds so tomorrow maybe will put some .  hope you can see the chloroform in the acrylic .

It's been suggested 100 times, I wont do it.

so took me a hrs to think where to put this and that so hard -.- even if i could finish the inner side of the case this day but well dont know how to place the stuffs on the case so this is my update for today . put some acrylic for the mobo placement and put the metal something for the mobo .  

you gonna get an ek block for your ssd?

This case is getting drilled more than a cheap hooker. You will get there eventually. Sucks about the picture stealing.

Installing from a separate drive gives you disk functions for the other drive like format, partition, and delete  

I was REALLY expecting an update this time...
