  1. Once you have the ISO in bootable format on the USB drive it doesn't really matter what happens to the original source it came from. you can do whatever you want with it.

    The ISO by itself is not bootable you need to extract it from the iso format and leave all those files in the root directory of the drive in order to be bootable

    so you would have extract the ISO to the SSD with something like Rufus, then boot to it on your friends computer but the SSD will not be available for installation you need another drive for the windows installation

    if your wondering if you can install windows from an iso without a USB drive you still can but it will be a windows upgrade not a fresh install and you will have no control over formatting drives or changing where windows is installed.

    This answered my question, just for clarification:

    So it HAS to install from one drive, onto another one? I will always have to have 2 drives?

  2. Quick question;

    "If you choose to download an ISO file so you can create a bootable file from a DVD or USB drive, copy the Windows ISO file onto your drive and then run the Windows USB/DVD Download Tool. Then simply install Windows onto your computer directly from your USB or DVD drive."

    Does the drive you install windows on need to be different from the drive that has the ISO on it?

    Can I copy the ISO to an SSD and then install it into my friends PC, and install windows that way?

    Thanks

  3. Hi

    A few MONTHS ago iTunes was acting weird and it wouldn't open so I tried uninstalling it (giving me this popup):

    post-64976-0-77201900-1431778024.png

    and tried reinstalling it (same problem)

    When i close said window it says: "the older version of iTunes couldn't be deleted"

    Does anyone know have to resolve this problem? This is getting really frustrating, I've tried so many things...

    Thanks!
