No, I did in the past since I underclocked the GPU but nowadays there aren't any errors in adrenalin. -

I used AMD's latest available driver downloader. My full PC specs are available on my profile. -
6900 XT GPU crashes in the middle of any game
NotBoraAtAll replied to NotBoraAtAll's topic in Troubleshooting
No I didn't use that, but shouldn't a fresh install of windows do even better than that? -
In the middle of any game I play I may get a black screen but the PC seems to keep working, the sound is still coming and the fans and RGB are still on. I had a really hard time detecting what caused this failure but "Device PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_73BF&SUBSYS_440E1DA2&REV_C0\6&15bb039d&0&00000019 had a problem starting." is what i found after looking through device manager and event viewer. But I don't know what this means. What is the problem? I have tried completely removing and reinstalling Radeon Drivers, making a fresh install of Windows from a usb stick (not resetting from settings) but none of these seem to help. All other drivers are up to date too. If you need any further information, please let me know.

Unstable CPU clock speeds
NotBoraAtAll replied to NotBoraAtAll's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
CPU PL1 and PL2 are at 75W. PL4 is at 165W. These are the default settings of the laptop's software. GPU is running at 115W and has dynamic boost turned on (15W). I could set it directly to 130W but I don't want the CPU to bottleneck by any chance. If you mean the power plan settings, they are set to default (I didn't change anything). -
Unstable CPU clock speeds

because it doesn't stay there. It drops as low as 800 Mhz then climbs right back up to 4.5 or something, then 4.0, then 4.9 and then 2.5 (this is not a pattern, im trying to explain the unstableness of it) and I switched to dGPU only in BIOS so that shouldn't be a problem like you said. And I don't know what else would be the case for such gaming experience on this system. Everything else seems normal. -
All the HWMonitor readings are available in the attached video. My CPU ALWAYS tries to run at 4.9-5.0 Ghz even if I'm idling. And it makes me think that my computer is not running as smoothly as it should. One thing to point out is I'm using an external monitor through Type-C (DP) with G-sync, and my laptop doesn't have a MUX switch. So I know I'm using some performance there. But that shouldn't mean Apex Legends running at 100 FPS feels like 40 FPS. The spiky situation of my CPU clocks doesn't seem to directly effect the FPS itself. I limit the FPS to 140 in Nvidia control panel, force v-sync, turn on g-sync compatible (certified) but damn this feels like I'm playing on my old gtx 970 and i5 6500. Literally no difference in the experience. And in game with all the fans at %100 (both laptop and laptop cooling pad) the CPU doesn't drop below 90C. I know i explained things in a messy way but I can provide you with more info if you need any. If you know anything helpful, please let me know. Thank you in advance. hwmonitor.mp4

No I'm not here to brag about the way my desktop looks. I just want to make sure before moving on to Windows 11. With NVidia bringing official graphics driver support for Windows 11 with 472.XX I thought it is a great time to download the beta. So, is it safe to update to Windows 11 on this system with some of the system files changed. I know the update won't delete any of my personal files, downloaded games and programs etc and that made me thought what if an interference happens with the stuff i changed? Will the updater fix those automatically? Or will all the Windows files get wiped and be reconfigured?

Samsung C24FG73 insane brightness flickering
NotBoraAtAll replied to NotBoraAtAll's topic in Displays
anything? -
I had this monitor for 4 years now. And I started noticing it's problems after upgrading to a 3060 laptop from a 970 desktop. The desktop had a CPU bottleneck issue so I thought that was the problem why games didn't look so smooth even at 100+ FPS. But god dam is this monitor trash. I can't afford to change it anytime soon. I actually wanna upgrade to a 2K 144hz but that doesn't seem possible right now. So I started looking for ways to fix this issue around the internet and most useful source I could find is this video: I lowered the higher limit all the way down to 140 and fixed the frame rate limit to 140 across the system on NVidia Control Panel. This made the gaming experience 10000x smoother. I can't believe I bothered with this stutter-like issue for 4 years, for no reason. And that's gone now. But there was another issue which happened from time to time which is brightness flickering. It feels like the monitor is turning on and off 3 times every second. The video title even says flickering fix but now it's even worse. It happens ALL THE TIME when I'm in a game. The game just becomes unplayable because the screen is disturbing me on a different level. And even though I have Freesync on my monitor and G-sync in the Nvidia Control Panel Turned on, there is still screen tearing. Is there any way to fix this? If you know, please let me know too. Thanks for your time

I can't really explain the issue so here's a short screen capture showing what it is. https://streamable.com/bdq1xu I am having this issue in Watch Dogs 2 and Valorant. You can see my hardware info on my profile. I really can't understand what is the issue here. Re-set up Nvidia Drivers but didn't help. Tried playing on laptop's screen and same result. I contacted Ubisoft about this and all they could tell me to do were to disable Windows Defender and try playing with just one screen. Like. This is nuts. It is eye-bleedingly distracting. I hope you can help. Thank you in advance.

I don't know how I could use rainmeter for start logo replacement, centered taskbar and transparent taskbar all at the same time. I don't even know how to use it to make changes on the taskbar lol. Just using it for the desktop widgets. I can't find a tool that all these at ones that's why I am using all of them at the same time. And while trying so many configurations, I found out that TaskbarX is putting the normal logo behind the one I setup. And I can't find a way to change that. I either give up on the whole aesthetic by using the original half-transparent taskbar or have to force the logo I want everytime the pc boots up again. sigh..
