  1. XAfter installing a new CPU, my MOBO's DRAM light stays on after booting and I have no display. I've tried resetting my GPU, both sticks of RAM, and even the CPU. I've tried running my pc with 1 stick of either ram in the first slot, I've tried swapping them, I even tried an older pair of sticks, nothing. I've air dusted the connectors for everything, including the CPU slot, RAM spots, PCIe slots, and 24 pin connector. I've tried tightening and loosening the screws on the cooler too. The CPU had no visible damage anywhere and the pins looked fine. I dont understand what im doing wrong. It worked perfectly fine before I installed the 5800x3D Specs; MOBO: Asus Tuf gaming x570-plus (No wifi) CPU: Ryzen 7 5800x3D GPU: EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 Ram: 2x16 Team T-Force Delta 3600/2x8 Team T-Force Delta 3000 Storage: Crucial MX300 275gb SSD and 2 Seagate HDDs TP link n900 PCIe WiFi card PSU: Corsair RMX850 80+ Gold
  2. Thank you all for the suggestions, I really appreciate it. Picked up a nice corsair 850x and the 5800X3D. Have a good night everybody
  3. I need to upgrade from a 500 watt PSU to 550 and I'm not sure what the best option is. Maybe a new CPU too, while I'm at it, since I'm sure an AMD 5 3600 is bottle-necking my 3080. Any recommendations are helpful. I don't have a budget limit and I live in America. My specs are: Case: Corsair Graphite 780T full MOBO: Asus TUF X-570 plus (No wifi) CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 Ram: 2x16 Teamgroup T-force Delta DDR4 3600 SSD: Crucial MX300 275Gbs HD: 2 Seagate's (1 1Gb and 1 4Gb) PSU EVGA 500 B1 80+ Bronze
  4. My windows is not activated, but good news, when I turned on DOCP and used the profile, everything got fixed. Thank you very much
  5. I never paid for windows, am I still going to be able to do the install?
  6. I never paid for windows in the first place and I have no idea how to reinstall it. Also, I have no idea what docp is, and yes, I have 16gbs of 2x8 RAM
  7. I appreciation that info, and im glad to say im 2 days out until my 1070ti comes in the mail, but good news for now, I turned on Vsync and it really dropped the utilization on my GPU, by about like 40%. I can reup the settings but I havent tested it in the game yet and ill report back. If I get another crash, ill reinstall my drivers and try again
  8. Also, Im running on a 144hz monitor using DP and I upped the HZ refresh rate in my display settings
  9. Back when I had my MSI z370 A pro mobo with the Intel Core I# 8100, I never had an issue with the GPU doing this and crashing Squad with a graphic memory issue. Since ive upgraded to a Tuf Gaming X570 Plus with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600, i can rarely finish an hour and a half game on the lowest settings without getting an error telling me I had a video error loading a texture and it crashes the game. Im running an MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6gb. Ive even uninstalled steam off of my SSD and put it and Squad on my HDD and it changed nothing. Squad shouldnt be using up all of my GPU, right?
  10. Yeah, I dont know how to do that
  11. Alright, ill get back to the thread im done
  12. Yeah, ive got a 256gb crucial SSD, and it booted windows 10 straight away with no hassle on first boot
  13. Yes, I did, and I believe I even had higher settings on Squad
