Changed!
I only can find the 1440p version in Spain ?

Yeah, but pricing isn't at all the same. Nor is product availability.
It doesn't make any sense at all to get US pricing for what you're buying.

Donki Knog got a reaction from Jon Jon in 5700XT or 2070S for High Refresh
Until now I only played Borderlands 3, which I consider that have a bad perfomance, it drops to 50fps (it doesn't go further) easily in stress situation (continuosly while playing with friends xDDDD), but, as I said, for me the game perfomance is bad. However it mostly goes at 60fps.
I can also play later MHW if you want to see how the card runs in some hunts, anyway I'm gonna pass the benchmark of BL3 capped at 75fps and unlimited, I'll post the results later.

Donki Knog reacted to WereCat in 3700X temp fluctuating
its normal, the CPU load in game is not constant at all so it changes all the time
-
Donki Knog reacted to 5x5 in 3700X temp fluctuating
Just enable HWiNFO logging. But temps will always fluctuate with load. The only way to have a constant thermal result is constant load. So just do an Aida64 stress test and if temps are fine, just ignore them ingame

That's how CPUs behave when the load changes frequently. Also, use Ryzen Master or HWiNFO to track thermals as Riva Tuner won't pick up Ryzen values very reliably.
Anyhow, you're perfectly fine. 70C is more than okay for a high end CPU

Welcome to AMD my friend. My 2700X those the exact same thing. Even on idle

Donki Knog got a reaction from xg32 in Are this temperatures ok? Ryzen 3700x at 80ºC
Sorry for the doublepost but, can I suck your dick? xDDDD
Thank to you all who posted something, love :3
I just change the VCPU (the 1st one that appears of the BIOS) from 0.980 to 0938, and its amazing.

use a -0.05 or -.1v offset as long as it doesn't hit performance, zen 2 stock voltages are way too high
also might wanna oc ur ram to 3200, losing alot of performance there. (10%+)

Donki Knog reacted to Tristerin in Are this temperatures ok? Ryzen 3700x at 80ºC
If you believe your TP application is sufficient (I use the spread method, no X or dots of pluses for me) than just apply a little more pressure and see if it changes temps

TG Kryo will drop your temps by 3c over AS5 (in my applications it always does) and you can add 2 more fans if you have room to the radiator for more heat dissipation so that the incoming fluid drawing heat off the block is lower temp.

That will be then, thank you all!

Leaning toward the G.Skill Trident Z: Samsung B-die, slightly better timings, and it's on your mobo's QVL list.

This is the diminishing returns I was referring to when going above DDR4-3600:

3600Mhz then since you're not that price sensitive (if you are, you wont be buying RGB stuff).
that's just AMD's marketing material. 1800MHz FCLK is their "generally obtainable" number, good chips can reach 1900MHz.
Also there's no such thing as "1800MHz+ gives diminishing returns", it scales linearly upwards as long as your memory can keep up.
Single chiplet still get all the benefits. Infinity fabric is still responsible to connect each core to the shared L3 cache and the I/O die.
-
Donki Knog reacted to Allan B in Which memory choose for Ryzen 3700X?
From my understanding the performance will be very similar for both on 3700x. The 3900x with the 2 chiplets benefit more from the faster infinity fabric (FCLK) 1600mhz vs 1800mhz, but a 3700x i don't believe has the same benefit. Getting memory benchmarks using 3700x to compare what you are asking is hard to find as i was looking for the same. Most use a 3900x CPU to compare where the FCLK matters more (in my opinion).
I would suggest going with whatever is cheaper.

3600 CL16 is better in paper, but hoe much do they cost?

I'd start with checking your motherboard's QVL (qualified vendor list), then narrowing your search to DDR4-3600 with the lowest CAS latency that you can afford. IIRC, Ryzen 3000's infinity fabric (FCLK) will scale 1:1 up until 1800MHz (so DDR4-3600) until you start seeing diminishing returns.

Yeah and once you get drift on those joycons you're screwed. Already happened to two of my joycons and they are only 6 months old.
Obvious statement is obvious, of course they want more money, that wasn't the point. My point is it's just going to be a worse version of the switch, that won't have repairable joycon controllers, that can't be hooked up to the TV, that loses all the features of the switch, just so I can play switch games. It's just a worse product that will sell well, much like what Apple does, because of the fan base alone. That doesn't make it a good product.
If Apple did something like this, this forum would riot. But everything Nintendo does is perfect in every way.

if you are interested in x470 or b450, awhile back GN released a failry comprehensive video featuring buildzod, about Mobo's they think are the best at various pricepoints, and also give an overview of each. kinda long, but good info.
