  1. Alright thanks. I have the website that says so, right here.
  2. Hello. I have a little bit of info that you should know before reading the other stuff. My oem supports 16GB non-ecc, and 32GB ecc. So if my oem has samsung ram, and that's non ecc ram, and I want to swap that out for 32GB ecc ram, could I throw in kingston ram? Since it's a oem and everything is proprietary, I'm not sure.
  3. I know it sounds stupid, but is it? and how would i go about doing it? taking the entire shockmount or use the shockmount included with the boom arm? etc etc, i wanna know how to do it. Thanks, Elite
  4. Thank you, but i meant does it just automatically go to unlicensed state or what? Thank you very much!
  5. yes, but i have almost no experience using linux, and it would be a pain in the ass to use if i don't get it setup properly. will keep this thread updated.
  6. Hi! So my dad has a old pc i am getting that i can rework into a server, however, he would like to keep his hdd as there are alot of files on that. that is no problem as i still have a hdd laying around, but what does it do to the license? does it just start to show up as not registered? (remember, i am only taking the old hard drive into the new pc i am building for him), or what does it do exactly?
  7. i will add a 8gig stick later on, yes. i was actually thinking of using windows, is there anything wrong with that?
  8. hi! can you elaborate on the first sentence? The specs are 8GB ram no gpu amd a6 smth 1tb hdd + 160gb hdd, will add a 1tb in the future. we talked a little and we decided i get my fathers old pc to use.
  9. Hello! Recently i've been thinking about making a server (more or less turning a old pc to a server, but regardless), but i also want a nas at the same time. Is this a possible thing to do? and how would i do that? i am thinking of just upgrading the old pc, but what software do i use? do i just use linux and then open it up to the network, or do i install freenas, and then i can still use it to deploy servers (think of mc servers, discord bot hosting, and dabatase hosting.), now it doesn't need like the best out of the best performance, as i would use it to store photos, and host a minecraft server/discord bot hosting. any ideas? and some things i should keep a lookout on? i want to buy a second hand pc and then upgrade it because mine are a little old to be upgraded, do i need to buy a new psu or not? and so on.
  10. ok so if it 'fails' ill need to buy a new cpu?
  11. "Some AMD A320 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Pinnacle Ridge CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions." i then tells me this, what should i do about that?
  12. hi there! This is a cheap gaming/streaming pc i made for the starters what do you think could be improved? Also the budget is 650 euro. https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/user/Wuter/saved/sv2Qqs Thanks in advance! Wuter
