itsmyjobtoknow got a reaction from vanished in SMS program for Windows 10
PushBullet would be something you're looking for. Not sure how well it works on iOS, but at least for android it works decently.

itsmyjobtoknow got a reaction from vanished in SMS program for Windows 10
It would work, but it would be annoying to give a few people the Google voice number, and a few his actual phone number.
And Hangout only has Google Voice SMS, so it wouldn't show the sms he would receive from his actual number

Couldn't remember if Asus's HD79X0 series of card had that cooler...but I was certain that Asus GTX 6X0 did...since I have that exact cooler in my house.

itsmyjobtoknow got a reaction from Redjo in Hackintosh
Like previous post mention, not every hardware is compatible with Mac OS X.
I have done hackintoshing, and it can be as easy as 1,2,3 or as difficult as hell.
For example, my motherboard, Asus P8Z77-V Pro was not initially compatible with booting up Mac OS X because of some CPU Power Delivery issue or something like that. What I had to do to get it working was modifying a bios and then flashing it to the MB which has a huge risk of brickage. Luckily it worked, but it still took hours of tinkering around and putting different combination of boot flags in order for me to get to the OS X installer page, let alone get the damn thing installed.
Audio driver was another nightmare as not every version works, every update breaks audio drivers, which causes you to have to install audio driver again.
I also ran into an issue where I upgraded my GPU from Kepler to Maxwell during the launch of Maxwell, and that was a total mess as OS X didn't want to boot because the kernel panic constantly. I had to unplug all but one monitor, disable iGPU, disable dedicated GPU, ran safe mode and then installed the fresh beta drivers. But that took hours of research before figuring out what worked.
Sidenote: There are some issue with booting up x99 (at least there was when x99 launched) because no Apple Computer has support for LGA 2011-V3...so it pointless for Apple to implement support for hardware that they don't sell. There are workarounds, but that just adds on to the difficulty of installing and getting OS X working.

Whoops, completely misread it nevertheless the Nvidia store still sell the reference 970: http://www.geforce.com/hardware/geforce-gtx-970/buy-gpu and you could probably find the reference 970 in your local best buy if you have one nearby.
As for 980: http://www.ncix.com/detail/pny-geforce-gtx-980-xlr8-06-102039.htm

On an actual note, shouldn't it be recommended to glue or crazy glue those "thing" that allow the motherbaord standoff to be screwed in at the 07:53 marker to the table to secure it from falling out of the table?

itsmyjobtoknow got a reaction from rcarlos243 in Ultrawide curve or 4k? (under 500)
If it is under 500USD, the resolution you'll probably find most 21:9 monitor is 2560x1080. At that point you might as well go with a nice 1440p panel so that way you have more vertical space.

itsmyjobtoknow got a reaction from Tocsin_786 in (US - Amazon) - Dell 24'' 4K Monitor, $389 + more screen sizes
A. Playing games at a resolution that isn't the native resolution of the panel is, IMO, a waste of money
B. You and I may not understand the argument about Windows DPI scaling, simply because you probably have a 4k panel and have no issue, and I have no experience at all with 4k...but the issue still exist because there are still people recommending 40in 4k panel because the DPI at that resolution and size is similar to a lower size&resolution. Nonetheless, I said some people may be discourage, but never personally stated it is an issue. It's just a thing I hear a decent amount. Although to be fair, the people with DPI scaling issue maybe the same people who doesn't want Windows 10..

itsmyjobtoknow got a reaction from Starelementpoke in hdmi or vga??
He meant it in the term of what's available on the monitor itself.
Nonetheless, HDMI is much more common than DisplayPort. And most of the consumers have no clue what the devil DisplayPort is.

itsmyjobtoknow got a reaction from Perryhdlp in Need Help Choosing 18th Birthday/High School Grad Present
Read the edit, and also I would probably say don't get anything too expensive. Just get what you need, and not what you want. I believe that, if someone truly wants something, they shouldn't have to ask someone for it, they should get it on their own will, and if there is disappointment in it, you only have yourself to blame for wanting it/ having a strong desire for it.

That is merely one of my POV in life. You don't have to follow it, but it's a good rule of thumb.

Well to be fair....I am still questioning how my loop has such low temps...
Before I got my Full Nickel Block, changing out the fluid to EK's UV Blue from Mayhems, and adding an additional fan to the 280 rad, and when I was using my Copper Acetal Block, my CPU idle temps would be at mid 40, with load it would be high 60ish getting close to 70. As for the GPU..the max temp was 51....
And also, it isn't all about rad, the fans you put on the rads determines the temperatures as well.

But you also have to consider what happens to the human after they are brought. Prostitution, Ripped apart for good healthy organs, Eaten (Rare, but the possibility are out there).
Yes the idea of buying humans may not be as bad as other things we as humans could be doing, but what happens afterwards can be very dark. I am not saying there aren't any good humans who just wants a child, but the possibility still stands as there are cruel and dark humans out there.
