  1. i am having this issue as well, with the same mouse, the keyboard is detected and is working fine but not the mouse
  2. ok after a while of trying to figure this out, including looking for the meter things, i came to this conclusion i have no clue how much power this thing draws. but i have decided to cut it smaller because its better to be safe than sorry, i do think the strip needs atleast 6amps to be powered on due to the number on the controler, it does say that the output is 6A max and i do think after looking at it for a while that the strip is dimmer. thank you for all your help.
  3. can it cause damage to the mobo, the rgb strip is cheap, but the amd motherboard was very hard to find where i live, if it does damage it, i will cut it into 1m strips side note, the mobo does mention to cut it into 1 m strips to reduce dimming, no other warnings are mentioned
  4. i did some research on the mobo and its a 12v 4pin header, i did plug it in and tested it and it seems to work perfectly fine, i kept it running for a couple weeks and again it all seems fine (i tend to leave my PC running 24/7), i do sleep with one eye open cause i put about 3.5 m of it in there, and the manual said to use 1 m but since i have no experience soldiering and making stuff i just went with it, i am considering getting an rgb splitter to connect the fan led and the strips
  5. hey everyone first post on here, i recently built my first system, and i am pretty proud but it is still missing one component. RGB, the rgb strips they sell where i am from are pretty overpriced and not worth it, so i was wondering if i got a 5 meter roll of rgb strip would i be able to plug it directly to my motherboard without causing damage? this is similar to the strip i have and the motherboard i have is the msi b450m pro vdh plus thanks in advance
