  1. Hi everyone... I was thinking of an idea for Channel Super Fun... A knockoff version of Hot Ones made together with Savage Jerky, where instead of hot wings the host and the guest have strips of jerky from mild to hot and answer various questions. The first season would be with LTT staff members (and perhaps even former, I for one would really like to see an episode with Nicky V), and then second season they interview various tech Youtubers. Would anyone else be interested in seeing something like that?
  2. With it's increasing popularity and even seeing tweets from Linus and (Bitwit) Kyle showing the byproduct of this app, I thought I'd post this here... https://www.forbes.com/sites/johnkoetsier/2019/07/17/viral-app-faceapp-now-owns-access-to-more-than-150-million-peoples-faces-and-names/#79fff76b62f1 https://www.phonearena.com/news/FaceApp-gender-age-filter-app-privacy-concerns-issue-Russia-elections_id117529 Basically a couple of things are happening when you are using this app: 1) While you still get to own your face, you're giving this Russian company the exclusive right to do whatever it desires with any photo you upload to the app. You might end up on a billboard somewhere in Moscow, but your face will most likely end up training some AI facial-recognition algorithm. And the worst part is that this right is irrevocable. 2) According to former Rackspace manager Rob La Gesse, FaceApp also has acces to all of your photos, Siri and Search, and also has access to refreshing in the background.
  3. Because I really want that 144hz buttery smoothness for gaming. I don't need it to be 4k, 1440p is enough for me gaming wise. And in case you guys are wondering why I don't buy directly a 1440p 144hz monitor, it's because I haven't found one (yet) that it's also suitable for my graphics work.
  4. Hi everyone... Quick question: If on an ASUS PG27UQ monitos you have to overclock the panel to get the 4k 144hz treatment, but loose on the chroma subsampling side, if I use 2560x1440, will I be able to get the 144hz and the 4:4:4 chroma subsampling? I don't care about the 4k that much, 1440p is enough for what I need work related. (sorry for the bad english, not a native english speaker)
