  1. Motherboard is Asrock a320m-hdv r4.0, current ram is a kingston fury. In the shop I could get kingston fury, g.skill aegis, corsair vengance, patriot viper and a few brands i never heard of. the listings go something like: Kingston Fury Beast, DDR4, 16 GB, 2666MHz, CL16.(my 2666MHz-4000MHz meant one could get any ram with frequency listed within this spectrum.) I have no idea what MT/s speed, is but cpuz lists my "uncore frequency" as 1330MHz (I'm working with whatever i can see on the parts or whatever i can decipher from cpuz cause the boxes got lost in the attic)
  2. Hi. I need advice. I've been meaning to upgrade my ram on a computer that I bought a few years back. I've got a single 8gb stick(ddr4) and I want to buy a 2 piece set to get my ram to 16gb. But, my current ram runs at 1330MHz and the ones a seen in local shop right now are 2666MHz-4000MHz and I'm unsure if the rest of my setup can handle it. I've got motherboard A320m, ryzen 5 1600 and Radeon rx570. I fully realize that there's a big upgrade waiting for me somewhere down the line(cpu and gpu, and probably the motherboard) but it's not in the cards right now, so i wanted to do this little thing. So my question is, can I switch my ram to what's in stores now, if so, is there a frequency over which it won't work? or should I abbandon the thought and wait until I could upgrade the whole setup o get myself to 16gb of ram?
  3. Thanks, mariushm, for the detailed reply. It cleared things up.
  4. Hi, I'm planning to build : Amd ryzen 5 2400G GTX 1050 ti 4gb (low profile) SSHD 1TB 2x 8gb DDR4 Ram DVD drive This is my first time building a computer from scratch, and i'm starting to get really confused, because Wattage calculators say I need anything from 173W to 662W. I have no intention of overclocking. Will 400W be enough? or 500W? or do i need to go higher? (I plan on buying 80+ bronze power supply if that makes any difference)
