  1. I will find something else and before going through with it I will consult the knowledgeable people here. I would have been none the wiser about all this.
  2. Alright thank you! Thanks for the feedback everyone. I will now go back to the drawing board and see what other and better options I have. I really appreciate the help.
  3. $2,141.08 for that particular rig. The census I am getting is to essentially keep looking for something better and more up to date. Keep in mind, I do want something that will allow me to play games like Left 4 Dead 2 with high fps rather than barely scraping over 160fps on certain maps.
  4. I'm mostly going to be using it for gaming, but I always play Left 4 Dead 2. The current rig I have is beginning to struggle to maintain over 100fps on certain maps
  5. It's about $2,141.08 for that particular unit. From the replies, it's clear that this rig is not up to standard. I am glad I checked here first before committing to anything.
  6. Hi there, So the current system I have built is about 4.5 years old now and it's clear that I am not getting that crisp performance that I once had all those years ago when I first bought it. I really don't have the time to go through the process of building a new one due to work commitments and just life tasks in general. So, I was wondering what you thought of the specs on this Pre Built PC. I may look for something else at a slightly higher budget but I'd like to know that I am on the right path. Here are the SPECS: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G GIGABYTE X570S AORUS ELITE AX 8GB PCS PRO DDR4 2666MHz 6GB GEFORCE GTX 1660 SUPER 256GB PCS 2.5" SSD 250GB SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS M.2
  7. That shed will get so hot and a long term dedicated system in there will struggle with the heat 100%. As others have said, the damage may not appear straight away but things will start to die off inside as time goes on in that heat. Definitely bring the Surface Pro in there and once you're done take it back into the home with you.
  8. So there are a few that has been mentioned already but I feel like more could be added. So I'll add the ones I have recently played and thoroughly enjoyed. Civilization VI (Free on the Epic Games store as of writing this. Focus is to build your Empire, manage your cities food, income etc. Defend and Conquer other Empires) Foundation (Medieval city building simulation game that focuses on "organic" development & monument creation) Ostriv (Just released recently. Developers are active at fixing bugs and including new features) Northgard (Civilization style game but with some combat thrown into the mix) Before We Leave (Released this month as of writing this. No combat involved, purely focuses on building, expanding, collecting resources and eventually, build a rocket to a new planet) I personally recommend Before We Leave and Civilization VI which is available on either Steam or the Epic Games store.
  9. After being gone for so long I am finally back! Yay!

  10. Well, where did you download the icon pack? If you installed the icon pack on the Play Store then you would need to uninstall it from there. Or you can just revert back to the original icons by going to Settings > Wallpapers and themes > Icons > My icons. To show your icons just scroll down a bit and then a drop-down should appear with your available and active icons.
  11. TP-Link has been made aware of the random disconnect problem with their products but they haven't really done anything about it. Random disconnects are attributed to a DNS Server disconnect at random while wireless devices connected to the router are working fine. The TP-Link routers are a different story entirely and it seems to happen with most of their products. Fritz and Netgear have the same issues with their product and none of them provides a clear cut solution, Fritz state in their FAQ that if none of their methods works to resolve the problem, then they can't do anything. So you just have to deal with it as far as I can see, and people that have purchased a $70 TP-Link has the same issue after a few weeks go by. I don't see why it would be a router problem, I have the same problem, and my router is only 1 year old and an upgraded boost router provided by my ISP. So it can't be that. Perhaps turning off the TP-Link devices when not in use may stop bloating or something instead of letting it sit idle for hours, but I'm not sure. But if I were you, I would try getting a new router or an upgraded one. Might fix the problem.
  12. Having seen some people review it, it's just your typical headset with a gimmicky feature. The sound and earcups are fine and most people are happy with it, the only criticism I have seen is about the mic. It picks up everything and is sensitive, so that's something to consider.
  13. A good few ones mentioned here, I have some to recommend also. Prison Architect Banished Anno 1404: Venice Foundation - This game was in my wishlist for a long time as I waited for it to be released. It isn't finished, the developers continue to release updates and patches to the game but it is amazing. Very relaxing and gives you freedom when you build castles and churches. Definitely, this is one for you to check out and consider buying.
  14. Can confirm that Handbreak is very good. I use it, myself.
