  1. In the first Photo you can see that the core temp is at 64C and the temp beside it which should be the hotspot (the hottest part on the gpu die) at 80C. Unless you set part that to show the gpu memory temps in afterburner. This may be caused by improper contact or detoriating thermal paste which is normal after 2-3 years if rigorous usage. So while changing the thermal pads to the correct one's also change the thermal paste.
  2. Your Core+Hotspot has nearly a 20C difference, that might cause the issue although I am not sure. I will suggest you to change the thermal pads and paste to see if this solves the issue. Also as a precaution if your card has multiple 8pin connectors do not use daisy chained PSU connectors/cables, have seen multiple occasions where there are issues arising from them.
  3. Sporadic issue. Sometimes happens and sometimes not.
  4. In Devices and Printer and in Sounds under Control Panel it shows as Yeti Stereo Microphone but the bar beside the mic doesn't catch any audio and stays gray. In working state its same except this time the audio meter moves up and down as it detects Audio. No issue in detection imo as its detected correctly everytime and drivers load. The issue seems elsewhere as even a reboot doesn't solve the issue.
  5. I am facing a strange issue with my PC. Sometimes my Microphone (Yeti) stops detecting audio (it is detected by PC and works but no audio) , this happens mostly during a cold boot. Also today I couldn't hear anything on my headphones no sound, once I increased volume from taskbar it started working as if it was muted but it was not. All of these started happening a week back, no major changes were made to the PC apart from a HyperX Headphone addition that too a 3.5mm and new AMD GPU Drivers 23.9.3 for CS2 support. I have tried reinstalling Realtek drivers and even changed usb port for the mic but to no luck. Strangely this issue started occuring after or around new AMD Driver updates, can this be the cause? I installed it on Sep 28th.
  6. My HyperX Cloud Stinger earpad and headrest pleather coating is completely worn off. I wipe it down after most uses but still it happened. The headrest is still acceptable as my Nzxt Puck pinched the foam causing this but the earpads were wiped most of the time after use. Since they were already 2 years old and were having some issues I bought a new Cloud Stinger 2 and would like to hear suggestions on how to stop this. I have started to keep it on the desk instead of hanging on the puck in hopes to save the headrest and have sent the old Stinger to HP (erstwhile HyperX) for repair. This is how the puck ate the previous headrest.
  7. Yes, all under 15% while playing the video. GPU is much lower
  8. This on a desktop 3500 which should be more than enough. Anyways I see that full screen somewhat solves the issue.
  9. Youtube videos on PC seems a bit choppier on Chrome versus Youtube App on Phone. Is this normal or should I change some settings to solve this? Hardware acceleration on/off yields same result. The smoothness of a 60FPS video is not there on PC
  10. This was a recently bought Ikea Ladda 2450 MIJ (Which is supposed to be similar to Eneloop Pro as made in same factory), the wrapper in Battery 1, 3, 4 are kinda lifting off slightly where one side of the seam overlaps the other side with the gap being more prominent in the battery labelled 1 and least prominent in the 2nd battery. Considering this is my first AA rechargeable in 29 Years (That's how old I am) I am kind of concerned that if that peels off then it would short or cause a leak. Can anyone clear my doubts if this is normal or not? The charger is not damaging the wrapper in anyway. The cause of concern: Have used many AA Alkaline batteries and none of them had this gap so thought this might be a Ni-Mh thing.
  11. The total space used don't add up. Even in Right click properties its 222Gb but when all hidden and normal files sizes return 215Gb. There is a discrepancy of around 7Gb. There are no page files on this drive. Also suggest a good defragging software for my WD Blue 1TB hdd which is 20% fragmented.
  12. Run a stress test and see if fan speed goes up as temperature rises. Use Heaven Benchmark on ultra and monitor temps and fan speed using hwinfo64. Its looks like your gpu has 0rpm mode and its bugging out.
  13. I will suggest to use wired repeater mode via ethernet mode. It gives better stability and the second router will work as an access point and will have different SSID (Wifi name and password). Now the question is if the landlord will allow you to have a repeater installed in your room. Basically how this works is you run a cable from your main router to your second router and setup your second router as access point. TP Link has an auto setup mode for easier setup of the modes. This is how I have setup my second router which is connected to my ISP Router.
  14. No issues, thanks for looking it up. Will keep the stock driver for now. Actually I was trying to get rid of the stock realtek driver that Asus installs and replace it with something else as the stock driver also installs the Dts Sound Unbound which is a pain in the ears and @$$.
  15. Update: Okay so I found my old Sony Ni-MH charger. It outputs 200mA of current at 1.2V, it's what the internet calls a dumb timer charger. Will that be safe to charge a set of Duracell 1300mAh that I bought? The Ikea ones will arrive quite late I think as they are not yet confirmed and expected delivery is showing as end of September. Will use the Duracell's in my mouse and will use the Ikea (if they arrive in my remote). Slowly phasing out Alkalines from my Home, the BT mouse was the first.
  16. If google had the exact answer you wouldn't see this post here in the first place.
  17. MODEL: Tuf Gaming FX505DT-BQ596T PRODUCT NO: 90NR02D2-M15200
  18. Can Anyone help me identify the sound chip? This came with my Asus Tuf Laptop and I am trying to find the model through Hardware I but google search reveals no satisfactory results. HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0235&SUBSYS_104318F1&REV_1000 HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0235&SUBSYS_104318F1
  19. Well the thing is that the amount of spam that is thrown around on google it's easy to get confused. I already installed some common known shopping apps on her phone and asked her to use those instead of clicking random links on Google Feed.
  20. My mon clicked on a fake Amazon shopping website link she found as a sponsored ad. She clicked on the link and forwarded it to me over WhatsApp. I instantly recognized it as a phishing link. Thankfully she didn't enter any information on the website and just opened and forwarded it to me. So how effed up is her phone? I scanned it with Malwarebytes and it was clean, I also resetted Chrome to factory settings.
  21. I finally bit the bullet and bought Ni-Mh batteries. I ordered the Ikea Ladda 2450Mah MIJ with the Stenkol Charger. Is it advised to use the Ni-Mh in Magic remotes from LG? And how likely is it that Ni-mH batteries will leak? Previously I had Ni-mH Sony batteries in my cordless phone and they died suddenly one day but didn't leak. This was nearly 10-12 years back when wired telephone was a thing.
  22. Need help in Installing iCue 5 for my HS65 Wireless. Everytime I try it gives an error and closes itself. Uploaded the log.
  23. I have seen some usb rechargeable AA Li-Ion AA 1.5V cells. Don't know if those will be reliable or not.
  24. Yes, saw his videos. He apparently had 3-4 energizers leak on him. Ni-Mh won't work for me as their voltage is too low for my Magic remote which starts to freak out below 1.3V. Energizer Max was supposed to be a better alternative to Duracell Duralock but it seems as if they are the same now. I have opened a new AA pack from 2023, I hope that this one doesn't leak.
