  1. Didn't touch anything CPU related except turn on Virtualisation and TPM. Will try the curve optimisation and report back.
  2. I have a AK620 cooling a Ryzen 5700X and the temps I am getting compared to my previous Ryzen 3500 are quite a bit higher around 15-20C in some cases. Now I don't know if I am still stuck in a dilemma that this new CPU will also give me lower temps like the 3500. So is this normal for a cooler like AK620, is investing in a better AIO worth it? I am attaching the max temperature captured during the tests. Note: PBO is on Auto in Bios.
  3. This is a clean install (Feb 2024) from a bootable usb drive made in December. SFC finds corrupt files but can't repair them, didn't try the DISM command yet.
  4. Sure. The digital signature is there but somehow it seems corrupted. msdelta.dll
  5. 6. It's not infected as per virustotal or kaspersky or Windows Defender.
  7. Yep, mine is same like yours. Looks like its a false detection. HitmanPro also detects punkbuster as suspicious.
  8. I have a dll file marked as suspicious by HitmanPro but undetected by Kaspersky Premium. Can anyone tell me what file this is? Also why is this marked as suspicious?
  9. Yep, have nearly half of the useless programs disabled under startup.
  10. Somehow my startup selection under Msconfig is set to selective instead of Normal. Is this a normal occurrence? I didn't change any settings here, I just stopped some Adobe services and startup programs from Task Manager.
  11. So Aida64 it is for idle, as on load all show similar temps.
  12. So which temperature should we tell people when they ask what my CPU temperature is?
  13. After I installed my new CPU I was monitoring my temperature in these softwares and I am seeing that the temperature in Aida64 for CPU is always higher than ~5C in idle. On load (Benchmark/Stress) they are within 0.5C of each other. Is there any setting in AIDA64 that can correct this behaviour as I use that for my stress test and temperature monitoring on desktop for max time? Afaik AMD Adrenalin uses the same monitoring suite as Ryzen master so that can be taken as the Control.
  14. I recently got a 5700x and wanted to know if PBO is a worthy thing to turn on. The default is on Auto in Gigabyte Bios. Now I ran Cinebench on both PBO auto and enabled. Auto Score- 13743 (4.21Ghz sustained speed) Max Recorded Temperature- 63°C Enabled Score- 14739 (4.45Ghz sustained speed) Max Recorded Temperature- 76°C So is worth it to keep it on enabled considering I was playing games on a much older 3500 and they were running okay except some titles which demanded more cores. Also do the scores seem okay? Cooler- AK620 Motherboard- B550 Aorus Elite V2 Memory- TridentZ RGB 3600 32gb (8x4)
  15. Yes, it's below the 90C set by AMD but isn't a 10-15C increase too much compared to the previous Gen? Or does the 5xxx heat up more than the 3xxx. Seen some reddit posts also that have the same query.
  16. I recently changed my 3500 to a 5700x. My idle temps are 31-34C but in game load temps are around 70-72C. My previous 3500 had similar idle but 10-12C lower under load temps. I am using the same CPU Cooler (AK620) and same thermal paste (MX4), no changes in bios. Is it normal for the newer CPU to have a higher underload temp? Also AIDA64 CPU stress test yields 65-67C versus 53-55C of 3500. Current Ambient is around 28.5C.
  17. Update: Got the 5700X, 5600X was just 5$ less than 5700X so was not worth it.
  18. Hi, Recently I started playing CS2 and I noticed a weird thing. If I am playing some other game like Apex and someone invites me to CS2 it randomly decides to close to desktop. My Steam account isn't compromised as I change password every 3 months along with mobile authenticator. Can this be solved? It's pretty annoying when the game closes while I am in a ranked or unsaved point in the game.
  19. Update: Wifi card is not the issue. Removing the card also throws a ntoskrnl bsod. For the time being downclocked my TridentZ 3600Mhz (XMP) to 3200Mhz (System Memory Multiplier) to test. Strange thing is on Asrock system was super stable on 3600 but somehow Gigabyte is not so stable.
  20. The BSOD's aren't random but occur 90% of the time after logging into Windows. Memory came out fine in memtest86
  21. Well since both use PCIe lanes can issue on wifi card cause the GPU to throw a bsod out of nowhere? Although the BSOD of Gpu can also be driver related. I am trying to pinpoint the main culprit here.
  22. Can a faulty WIFI PCIe x1 card cause BSOD related to a GPU since both are PCIe devices? The card in question is Asus PCE-AC55BT and inside it is a Intel 8260NGW. Mods may remove the post if found in violation of group rules. But also attach the group rule violated in question to avoid this in future.
  23. There is an update to this I posted it but moderators locked it. Will post it here again: I changed my motherboard to a new Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite v2 in December, since then I have been facing random bsod after login into Windows. Today strangely it gave a complete new BSOD "netwtw06.sys" Google search revealed it to be related to Wifi card (Asus PCI card using Intel 8260). Previously it would be System Service Exception, amdkmdag.sys, Unexpected Kernel Mode Trap, Page Fault in Non Paged area, ntoskrnl.exe, etc and others that didn't pinpoint exactly where it came from. I have reinstalled Windows and all drivers are latest upto date. I have 4 sticks of TridentZ running at 3600mhz. The model of the ram is in their Compatibility list. The CPU is non overclocked. Rest of the specs are in signature. So can anyone help to pinpoint what exactly is causing these BSOD's and why they are happening 99% of the time just after the login screen and going to desktop.
