I stand corrected.  Didn't think the 470 was that much better and I prefer the nvidia cards, owning both brands.
If you have no preference in manufacturer then the 470 is the best card.

    Lol wut.

The 290 is the "best" card but eats a crap ton of power and is older. The 470 performs a couple percentage points slower but has much more reasonable power consumption. I'd go for that. Also look at used 980ti's or even a Fury if you can find a good deal (rare)

    Hey!

I do have the 1050ti, and I can say it does preform alright, with playing most every gaming 60fps fine, But I can say the RX470 out preforms it in every way, I would say go with the RX470!

    Proof.

The RX470 absolutely wrecks the 1050Ti. Go with that.
    Wrong choice

Nah not worth it. You'd be better off saving up to make the jump to a 1050(Ti) in the future.

https://www.amazon.com/Cat-Ethernet-Cable-White-Connectors/dp/B00WD017GQ/?tag=linus21-20 in the link location, but NOT link text.

Why isn't this practice disclosed anywhere? I get it, but a little transparency would be nice, as it is it seems to be set up in a sneaky way. I mean, you basically are making money from users on here recommending stuff, not LMG itself. At least throw a mention somewhere in the forum information. This, coming from a guy who's always thrown money at the site monthly for no reason.

Funny, I recently (last Monday) sold a similar setup on eBay. An ASUS P8Z68 Board with a core i5 2300 and 8GB of generic 1600MHz DDR3 RAM for £125 + £15 shipping. (Best offer accepted)

If you're building a cheap workstation than an FX-8350 probably is the better cpu. But for gaming it's not even close. The one problem is the $40-$50 LGA 1150 boards are usually H81 or B85, and thus not guaranteed to work with a Haswell Refresh CPU like the i5-4460 without a BIOS update. Considering the Haswell Refresh BIOSes date from June 2014 and later it's pretty doubtful you'd need to do a BIOS update when buying a new H81 or B85 board, but it's still a remote possibility.

To all the people wanting a "free look" at the game, because otherwise the company is free to "fuck" you...

Steam Refunds. Origin Refunds. GoG.com Refunds.

That is all. There already exists a system, in which you can buy digital games, and if they don't work, you can get a refund. If you don't like them, you can get a refund. If you're squirrelly and just changed your mind, you can get a refund.

In short, you can get a refund. Origin, in particular, has an incredibly generous return policy. Even Steam's policy isn't half bad. GoG.com's policy only covers technical issues (They won't refund you if you don't like the game), but if they cannot get a game working within one month, you can get a refund still - plus GoG.com tends to have old games, or otherwise very cheap ones.

First and foremost, you should do your research first - check reviews and playthroughs, etc.

While I think DRM often is too intrusive in some cases, I have literally no problems with this.

Let me explain why China's Great Firewall doesn't work.

VPN (EDIT- alright to clarify, make yourself look like you're in Germany. Not that hard.)

So, are we still gonna waste time and effort with this?

Just decided to run a quick google for a source, and found 5 ways to bypass China's firewall within 10 seconds. With bypassing security being so easy that I know idiots who know nothing about a computer that used VPNs to access Facebook in school.
    https://www.techinasia.com/5-ways-sneak-chinas-great-firewall

    EDIT- Moved this on up.

Everything is just so far off base when you actually know stuff...

So, let's put on out skeptic caps and debunk this garbage!

Those aren't mutually exclusive terms, those are essentially the same thing. Even if you don't buy that, what if they use VPNs to make it look like they are coming from a place like Germany? It simply CAN'T work the way he wants it to. It might work if they are 5, but they aren't. Youtube's Geographic Block system used to work, then society as a whole got smart.
Let me set up a VPN.

Downloads a VPN onto phone (I have 5 on my phone right this second)
Click Connect while connected to Mobile.
    VPN connects
    Click Hotspot

Voila, wasn't that easy? Now everyone in the room has uninterrupted access to anywhere since they are 'in Germany'.

I'm not sure what's funnier, the fact they think this will solve the issue, or the fact that you believe them. This is from US soil to ISIS.

What are they going to do? Ban Twitter? Ban every social networking site? If you weren't aware, this is where most of their communications take place. It's safe, 'secure', and for the most part, encrypted. I'd love to see what that 95% of the internet is. I'm assuming that 5% won't be hard to find.

No, this will not solve any issue. Plain and simple.

The fact that Trump is using a Def Con to prove his point is hilarity to the max, and if anything, disproves his position even more.    I've been watching Def Cons since Def Con 12, and frequent the older ones. I GUARANTEE these guys have already put out how to bypass everything they put up.    Wikipedia article for BGP: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Border_Gateway_Protocol   I think the only reason Trump quotes this is because it contains the words "Border", "Gateway", and "Patrol", the things Trump loves.    The funny thing is, most BGPs are fully anonymous. I'll have to rewatch this video to make sure I'm not missing anything, but as far as I am aware, Trump is well out of his league. Need I remind him this is a "Bad Guy Convention"?

Actually, no. It is as 'bonkers' as it first sounds. It would have almost 0 effectiveness against ISIS. Even if we were to follow China's example, it would be absolutely ineffective. I recommend reading more into this and educating yourself.

    My Conclusion

In any degree, shutting any part of the internet down will be completely ineffective in the war against ISIS. A simple critical eye should be able to call BS on this. A simple VPN will completely crush any of these plans.

Ok, let's assume it manages to be 100% effective against VPNs (Which need I remind you is 100% impossible).

Then you'd have to prevent every type of Torr-like system out there as well, which no, will not happen. People are smart, especially when going against the Gov't.

Terrorists are fast and can change tactics on the tip of a needle. The government will always be chasing due to the simple fact of the Gov't bureaucracy and red tape.

Doing so would be an expensive waste of time.
