  1. ok so if i switch the monitor to 120hz it displays without any issues, seems like a hardware defect on the monitor then?
  2. i need some help, usualy i dont have any issues with tech support but im absolutely stumped on this one i just came back from therapy and when i turned on my pc i saw this: https://imgur.com/Lm3IkjQ at first i freaked out thinking my panel broke somehow but it didnt, the monitor is connected via HDMI to my gpu, if i use a HDMI to DP adapter the monitor works perfectly fine except that i can only get up to 60hz instead of the normal 144hz so then i thought its the HDMI port on my 3060ti but if i use another monitor on that HDMI port it works perfectly fine, i also tried 2 other HDMI cables both yield the same result (although slightly varied) than in the pic above so the HDMI port on my monitor and on my GPU is confirmed working, the HDMI cables all work but if i plug in my monitor into the GPU hdmi port i get this weird pixellation that looks like a dying gpu, i have absolutely no idea what could be going on here... i also reseated my gpu, i reinstalled drivers (with ddu) and i have no idea what else i could try or how this can even be an issue the only other port on my monitor is a vga port so i cant just use a different port and again, if i use a DP > HDMI adapter on my gpu im locked to max 60hz i also have no idea how to google this issue so im pretty stumped here, any help is appreciated Specs: Ryzen 5600x, rtx 3060ti, asus b450m gaming plus, 16gb ddr4 3600mhz, 800w PSU and the monitor is a Asus VA326HR and my pc is running windows 11
  3. Hey everyone, i got an AOC F22 Monitor that im running at 1440x900 at 75Hz, i played around a bit with the Custom Resolution Utility and managed to overclock it to 81Hz @1440x900. I just have one small problem, i get an error message saying "Input Not Support" (with the typo :P) and it moves across the screen like the famous DVD logo, but i do get image and everything looks amazingly fluid. The jump from 75Hz to 81Hz makes a HUGE difference, it almost feels like 120Hz to me and i really want to find a way to use it like this. Now to my question, is there anything i can do to get rid off this message other than going back to 75hz? I play a lot of Counterstrike and i had to sell my 144Hz Monitor recently, i had this old AOC Monitor sitting around and have been using it since, but going back to 60/75hz from 144Hz actually gives me motion sickness in Counterstrike, 81Hz feels fine though. My System: Intel Xeon x5650 @ 4.01GHz 24GB DDR3 Dual Channel Memory @1600MHz EVGA GTX 970 SC Windows 10 LTSC 1809 im fine with risking to break this Monitor as it doesnt even have a stand and is quite old too, so im open to any crazy options as well EDIT: here are the Monitor Details i got from Amazon: AOC F22 Widescreen 21.5" LCD Color Monitor, Piano-Black Glossy Finish, Aspect Ratio 16:9, Resolution 1920 x 1080, Pixel Pitch 0.248 x 0.248mm, Brightness 300 cd/m2, Response Time 5ms Specifications Panel: TFT Active Matrix LCD Maximum Resolution: 1920 x 1080 Pixel Pitch: 0.248 x 0.248mm Aspect Ratio: 16:9 Display Area: 477.5mm x 268.5mm Brightness: 300 cd/m2 Contrast Ratio: 30,000:1 (dynamic) Response Time: 5ms Viewing Angle: Horizontal 170 Degrees/Vertical 160 Degrees (CR>10) Scanning Frequency: Horizontal 30K~80KHz/Vertical 55~75 Hz Pixel Frequency: 148.5MHz Color: 16.7M Signal Input: Analog 0.7Vp-p(standard), 75 OHM, Positive Digital Input: DVI-D with HDCP Connectors: Analog RGB Signal 15-pin D-sub Male/Digital Signal 24-pin DVI-D Power Source: Universal 100~240VAC, 50/60Hz Power Consumption: 49 Watts Plug & Play: DDC/2B, DDC/CI EPA ENERGY STAR: Yes User Control: Auto, ECO/Up, Down, Menu, Power OSD Languages: 8 Languages including English, French and Spanish Regulations: cULus, FCC, CE, Certified for Windows Vista Logo, ROHS, EPEAT Silver Other Features: Aluminum Navigation Key, User Friendly Graphical OSD Menu, VESA 100mm Wall Mount Compliant, Kensington Security Slot, includes AOC proprietory i-Menu software OSD Dimensions (WxHxD): 20.69" x 14.92" x 3.19" Weight: 10.12 lbs
