Well I said that because I am also using the same on my 2 gig machine and it works just fine for normal work like browsing, streaming etc. But still I agree with you..

Try disconnecting the SSD, and any other connected hard drives, and try and get into the BIOS without it. If you can get into the BIOS, note your current settings, the perform a "Reset BIOS Defaults" (usually on the EXIT tab). then restart, enter BIOS again, and change the settings you need.

Try connecting to a computer with macos then login to itunes in computer with the same apple id which was in your iphone. After that an option to restore your iphone will popup. I guess that will work.

A similar issue occurred in my PC. Try updating your graphic driver or reinstall it using device manager. Press Win + R to open Run dialogue box the type devmgmt.msc to open device manager the go to display adaptor to apply changes.

You can first try using live usb of different distros and then choose the one whit which you are most comfortable..... I recommend you start with elemenary os All the best.. :-))

I was wondering how I go about replacing the text at the top left of the wingpanel from Applications to the official Elementary OS logo. Hello everyone Actually I am new to linux and just wanted to try it. So instead of live boot I installed it side by side with windows. But I am not able to sign in to my elementary is account now. When I enter my password, The screen blanks out for a few seconds and then bad to login screen. I searched the internet and came to a conclusion that my storage is full( actualy it was my fault I gave only 10GB space to elementary OS) I tried cleaning temporary files using the following commands sudo apt-get autoremove sudo apt-get clean sudo aptitude purge ~c rm -v -f ~/.cache/thumbnails/*/*.png ~/.thumbnails/*/*.png These commands worked before when I first encountered the problem(this is the second time). Then I thought of just extending my linux partition. So I logged into windows and used a partition tool to create a partition just before and after my linux partition and was successful but when I tried merging the two partitions I failed as it was disabled by the gui of the software( I made the new partition in the same format as my linux partition i.e. ext2) So now I need help to increase the size of my linux partition please help me!! And I don't want to reinstall as it has some important data....

Its a dell chiclet keyboard. But the problem doesn't seem with the keyboard as it was running fine on other pc at the same moment.
