If the CPU isn't soldered onto the MoBo and you know what compatible CPU replacement to get then I'd don't see any reason to not go for it.

Well Asus does make good cards although a bit overpriced especially on some models. MSI's cards aren't that bad either just overpriced. You can get a Gigabyte card which is affordable on specific models and still get the performance expected.

    All springs ping. Period.

It's useless to compare relative amounts ping between switches when they reside in different plates and cases.

Case and plate materiel effect how the ping reverbs and escapes to your ears.

Dampening foam and heavier keycaps do help somewhat. Lubing the springs is the only effective way of truly reducing it.

    Thanks, much appreciated!
I'd go with the non WiFi board then and finding a good 3200MHz RAM will be easier so that's a plus.
Which brand would you recommend for the RTX 2060? I heard MSI GPUs are not really good...should I go for an ASUS or Gigabyte version?

With the 2060 you can use the features Nvidia has for optimizing content creation since AMD cards are usually buggy and are usually good for their raw horsepower not their features. 3200mhz ram would be more than enough for you rig unless you want to spend more on faster RAM for marginally better performance (mostly synthetics). You could just tighten the timings on the 3200 kit or even run it at 3466 with reasonable timings for better performance for the price. If you don't bring the PC with you (lol) and you can wire it up, you won't need the WiFi board. I'd go with the Asus board. As for the case, there a lot of respectable tempered glass cases out there. Depends on you aesthetic preferences and availability.

$300-$400 you'll find some decent mid-rangers from known brands (like Samsung) and even some ones with high-end specs for the price from lesser known brands (like Nubia or Xiaomi).

That's a good combination. Do check though if a GTX 1660 Super is not much more expensive.

For one, if you tab out of the game to look at the Resource Monitor, many games pause their rendering. Secondly, it just sometimes reports GPU-utlization wrong.

I recommend installing MSI Afterburner and enabling GPU-usage in OSD -- that way you'll see its utilization in real-time in-game.

Just get the best for your budget. I have a friend with a 1050ti and to be honest he is still contented with it today. Although I would vouch on the RX 570/580 and GTX 1650/1660 being better choices if the pricing isn't that bad

With MSI Boards you can update the BIOS using only the dedicated port and flash button on the rear I/O. No need for a CPU.

Or any really decent, not crappy, air coolers would do the trick. Heck, if you live in a colder place then the stock cooler won't give you headaches, unlike here in the tropical infernos of Asia...

Well if you were after every bit of performance from the chip and really just better cooling and higher benchmark scores (yeah, I know right), then a beefy cooler won't hurt at all, given that the aforementioned is what you're after...

Tomahawk has USB type C while gaming has extra USB port to replace the type c and well as for gigabyte I've heard mixed reviews about their MoBo's really so yeah...

won't hurt, but IMHO, a Brocken Eco Advanced & Ben Nevis Advanced are capable of handling a 2600x overclocked to the maximum.

Gaming-wise, you're better off getting a discrete GPU but for productivity or generally, a RAM upgrade is great, especially if you can get high speed ones (3000MHz and above) at 16GB dual channel...

Any B450 or B450m board should do you justice on the Ryzen 3 chip as there's no real reason to go for A320 boards since price difference isn't really siginificant and since that's an APU it would and should be overclocked to unlock its full potential, something that A320 boards just don't give freedom or access to.

Gaming wise, the new 3000 series chips should be noticeably faster. But productivity wise, they aren't too far off, though the extra cores and threads on the 1700 does have its advantages in most workloads, but the optimization of the new chips could make up, one way or another, in terms of other performance aspects and overall performance uplift...

A 120mm AIO would in fact just cool the chip similarly as some decent air coolers, with the added failure point being the pump. Some beefy air coolers can even crush some cheaper 240mm AIO's. As for getting the most performance out of a X chip, you're practically good to go, although it might be a tad warmer than other systems on much better cooling. I ran my 2700X stock with the stock Wraith Prism cooler it came with and temps were sitting the 70's when under full synthetic load. But enabling PBO would push more voltage and therefore increase boost frequencies even more but the stock cooler wouldn't be enough as it would get into the 90's under full load. Switching to a dual tower heatsink, without PBO I can get into the 60's under full load and PBO enabled 70's and sometimes 80's if I run AVX or FPU stuff for torture testing.

So yeah I think that the AIO you have would be good enough, not that I could guarantee anything, but it should be fairly decent and you won't have to worry about anything...
