  1. @Oswin Ah thanks, guess I missed that spot in the PSU tier list. I will stick to the GX then.
  2. I am interested in getting a new PSU and decided a Seasonic focus would work well, with current pricing differences its complicated as to weather a 650 or a 750 watt PSU would be better to buy. I can find both wattage types in the newer focus GX and the older Focus + but I am not sure if there is any reason to pick the Focus + over the Focus GX. If I get 750 watts it is the same price for either series and if I get a 650 watt it is cheaper to buy from the GX line. Is there any reason to pick the focus + over the focus GX?
  3. Thanks for the replies, @DutchGuyTom my motherboard is a micro atx, the GIGABYTE GA-AB350M-Gaming 3, and I forgot to mention that one reason for a new case is that both of my current case fans have died on me in the past few years and I don't want to have to pay for more fans when I could get a new case instead. I don't know if getting a new motherboard would be very easy for me, budget wise, but if I need a smaller one I definitely could do it. My current case is rather small, its an old xion meshed mini tower case that ran me $40 in 2014.
  4. I am looking to get a new computer case, my current one is around 6 years old, and many of the new ones on the market have tempered glass side panels. I currently live with my parents, but they are divorced, thus I move between each of their houses roughly every three weeks and bring my computer with me every time. I was wondering if I should either get a case with an acrylic side panel instead of a tempered glass side panel, and if so what are some good options for a mid tower with acrylic, or simply go with an older style with no side window. I have only ever owned one case so I really don't know much about cases for computers. And if I get a tempered glass case is there a recommended way to bring it with me or would it be fine just staying attached to the computer? At the same time I am currently using an 6 year old power supply, a bronze 550w lepa, and think I should get a new one before looking into too many upgrades, the rest of my system is 2 years old ryzen 5 1600, 3gb 1060, b350 motherboard. Is there a good power supply to look into, or a good range to look at that would work for newer case fans and still work with my older hardware? Any response helps.
  5. Also looking into a power supply does the "Seasonic FOCUS Plus 650 Gold" seem like a good option? I also see ones like the "Cooler Master MPY-6501-AFAAG-US MWE 650 Gold" that are cheaper but have some worse reviews is the quality worth the money for the difference?
  6. Whats your thoughts on a rtx 2060? It appears to be similar to a 1070ti and seems to be quite a bit cheaper.
  7. I upgraded my build a little over a year ago and picked up a new GPU. The one I currently have installed is the "ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 3GB Dual-Fan". I am currently running into some slight issues running games on higher settings such as Warframe, note I am also running Wallpaper Engine, and was just wondering if I need a new GPU to play upcoming games and some of the ones I still play and if so what are some good options? I am still using a power supply from 2014, the "LEPA B550-SA 550W ... 80 PLUS BRONZE", my CPU is the "AMD Ryzen 5 1600", and my resolution is "1920 x 1080". I'm assuming these are the main things to take into account. I have a budget of up to $400 but would like to spend less if I can still get good quality at the lower price. Any and all ideas would be appreciated.
