About a year ago, I bought a Corsair H100x off of Newegg for my system. I was running a Ryzen 5 2600 so I didn’t need any over the top cooling. I recently purchased an i7 9700k and an Asus Z390-A to go with it. I was putting it together tonight, when I realized that I was missing two thumb screws and the four standoffs needed for the AIO since I was using the AMD bracket. I even looked in the retail box it came in, and the screws weren’t there. I found a replacement kit on Amazon for around $17, but takes about a week to ship. Now I’m wondering which way I should go with this. Should I order the replacement kit from Amazon? Should I contact Corsair or Newegg directly? Or should I go ahead and buy another cooler from a company like Cooler Master or NZXT if the H100x is not strong enough?

It should help bring me where I want to go in terms of my stream quality and whatnot.

Currently, I feel like my 2600 is holding me back and I am not able to stream and game without losing massive frames, or a crash of some sort. I might as well get two PCs so that I can max out my 240Hz monitor anways.

I have made the decision to start saving up for a new set of components for a streaming PC and a gaming PC. Would these parts make sense? Yeah ... I think it was probably a bit unstable as I overclocked from 3200 MHz to 3400 MHz. I'm gonna get started on tuning that down ASAP for now. I think I'm still going to go ahead and save up for that upgrade in the future, as I think it would still benefit me and help take my stream to the next level.

I had overclocked my memory almost as soon as I built my PC by about 200 MHz ... could that be what is affecting it?

Would you be able to provide a link to this? I have searched for a while, and have not found it yet.

I am currently using as a webcam just fine ... the only problem is that the software I am using right now is probably outdated, so it keeps crashing.

Isn't this for only photos though? I am trying to use the camera as a live webcam.

I don't think so, however, because I would really like to upgrade to Intel. The MoBo is also pretty bad, so I might as well just leave it with the 2600.

I am not going to use the stock cooler for my Intel chip. I will be using the AMD stock cooler on my streaming PC's chip, and transferring my Corsair H100X onto the Intel chip. I think the 2080 is worth it for me, as it seems to do much better in rendering according to benchmarks, and I would like to get into graphic design or something of the sort soon. I also think Intel is worth for those 5-10 frames in my opinion ... I have been having a decent to bad experience with AMD thus far. If you think so, I think I will try and find a good 2x8 GB kit of memory then.

Currently, I am using an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 paired with an RTX 2060 Super in my system. The problem is, however, when I play a video game and either stream or have a couple tabs of chrome in the background, I am experiencing large frame droppage and frequent crashes. In the future, I will be upgrading to a dual system for gaming and streaming. My streaming PC will be the same 2600 and 2060 Super, while the gaming rig will have an i7 9700KF (integrated graphics not needed) and an RTX 2080. I am planning to have 16 GB of memory in the gaming PC, but am not sure of how much memory I should have in the streaming system. I will only have StreamLabs OBS up and maybe some light Chrome browsing, but that's it. For now, I have marked it down as only 8 GB, but will that be enough? Earlier this year, I found a decently old DSLR camera in my attic, that I re-purposed into a webcam for my stream. It is a Canon EOS Rebel T3. The proprietary digital software for it is available, but I have lost my key for it. I have been using SparkoCam Digital Camera software with a watermark (I just crop the watermark out), but recently it has been crashing a lot. Are there any other free DSLR camera softwares out there that are compatible with mine?

At night, not only do I turn my computer off, but I also turn off power at my power supply ... every single night. This is because I am a very light sensitive sleeper and the motherboard lights keep me awake. Is this in any way harmful to my system?

I am building a PC this coming week for around $1000. I am pretty nervous, because it is my first one and I have been planning this for a while. I have scoured the internet for the answer to a very simple question and, somehow, have not found an answer. I have recently purchased a Google WiFi Mesh System with four hubs and am connecting them in a wireless mesh. Is it possible to have a good Ethernet output from a freestanding hub without an Ethernet input?

I am in the US, my budget is a little under $2000 for my entire setup including desk and everything. I intend to game and stream until I might get a separate small budget streaming pc. I will probably play COD, Battlefield, CSGO, and Rainbow 6 Siege.

This is for a build that I will make in the near future after I move houses. I do not have anything currently so this is for the future.

I don’t know if I should spend more of my budget on my monitors and setup in general and upgrade my pc down the line, or vice versa. Any suggestions or thoughts?

I am getting an RTX 2080 but can’t figure out for I want the Dell one (1440p and 155hz) or the Alienware one (1080p and 240hz). Any thoughts?
