    Thanks. Had same problem, had installed the driver from ASUS on a B450-f Gaming, and had the same un-recognized hardware. Installing the chip directly from AMD solved the issue.

    Agree on the frustration of not being able to actually buy an Asus as one would like. You need to luck out that some of the very large retailers has configured the laptop just as you want it, and get it in stock, and with the right price. Not the best purchasing experience.
