  1. Hey I just got my laptop like 4 days ago. The temps weren't THAT bad but while gaming its around 85'c. The first 3 days I didnt notice any heating on the keyboard but now I can feel it when I'm using the numpad. And this isn't under a lot of gaming load just league of legends. Is this a problem with my unit or does every legion have this? Can anyone with the laptop tell me? Thanks
  2. So those temperatures are okay for long time use? say 6-7 hours straight? When I'm gaming it can go to max of 97'c. Without turbo its around 85-89'c.
  3. Okay thanks. I just wasn't sure if it's normal. I also checked the CPU clock speeds and saw it was upwards of 3.9Ghz. I downloaded ThrottleStop and disabled turbo and now its running a bit cooler. (around 10-15'c cooler). Anyone knows if that is the default factory setting? Thanks
  4. This is like my first laptop havent really owned one before. I got the Lenovo Legion Y530. Its working okay but thing is the bottom of it is getting really hot. The middle of the grill part (the one encasing the fans) is almost too hot to touch. This is during normal activity(browsing, installing software etc) and not gaming. I ran CPUID HWMonitor and the CPU temps are around 65-70'c. The GPU is stable around 54-55. Is this an issue? Do gaming laptops generally run this hot? I cannot feel the heat anywhere else though just that part is really hot. Please just let me know if this is a concern. Thank you.
  5. Hello. I don't know if you are still active here but I got this laptop and the bottom side is getting very hot after just a few minutes of benchmarking. The grill over the fan is getting too hot. But I can only feel it if I flip it and touch that part. Can't feel any of it on the keyboard. Is this normal? Should I take it back to the store? Thank you for your time
