  1. With AMD GPUs, native G-Sync works like FreeSync Premium then?
  2. Would PG27AQN be compatible with a new AMD GPU? This gen, I will stick with nvidea unfortunately but maybe next gen if AMD figures out raytracing? https://rog.asus.com/monitors/27-to-31-5-inches/rog-swift-360hz-pg27aqn-model/
  3. Etherium is gone but the inflation the hedgehog is fast. I want to buy a 4090 because, my health is bad so gaming is %90 of my enjoyment atm so no bully.
  4. The gap between 4080(16gb) and 4090 seem to be too big that Supers and Ti's won't fill it. It would also be hilarious.
  5. Hello, I have a X570-E ASUS Strix board with a 5900X. I want to keep my single GPU(3080) at full bandwidth but also use the two m.2 slots at gen4 speeds. Is it possible? https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-x570-e-gaming-model/helpdesk_manual/
  6. FYI, the 2TB 860 I bought a couple of months before the 870, has no errors.
  7. I have tested it, you are right, sth is funny. Gonna RMA. Thanks stranger. 8. 17 March 2021, purchase date for one of them.
  9. You read me quite right, what I am surprised is why is the floor for SATA is higher than m.2 at this point. Same with the HDD floor too, their value isn't going down for a long while as well.
  10. I need Samsung so my PC will look pretty with other 3 Samsung SSDs, worth the premium. I was just expecting, in general SATA SSD prices would be lower now. Like, 2TB 970 Evo Plus was almost 2x 2TB 870 Evo 2 years ago, now 2TB 870 Evo is almost more expensive.
  11. 870 EVO 2TB is at 180€ atm and any 4TB nvme gen3 SSD are way too expensive. Mobo m.2 slots are full so 2TB m.2 SSD doesn't add much.
  12. SSD's are used to get cheap fast but since the chia coin sperg, especially the SATA SSD prices doesn't drop. I wanted to get a 4TB SSD but the prices are still high, even on the 2TBs. What do you guys expect for SSD prices on short-mid term?
  13. I have 2X870 and a 860 for quiet sometime now and had 0 issues.
  14. I have a vg249q1r next to it and can't tell the difference. Can clearly tell the difference next to an OLED though.
  15. Tbh, I can let it go. I was just hoping for an almost OLED level blacks. Do you think the PG279QM would be a noticeable upgrade over my old TN on this regard or it would be just better colors and more fps?
  16. I haven't heard of the cons, can you please elaborate?
  17. I already have a 5 year old PG278QR(165hz 1440p TN G-Sync) monitor but the current available monitors doesn't seem to offer too much. Like PG279QM has no local dimming zones and adds only HDR 400, 240hz and Reflex. Local dimming zones seem very promising so should I wait 1-2 years for a new monitor?
  18. You are right SupaKomputa, 3GB min for 4K but not for 1080p. The driver issue is a deal breaker though.
  19. Well, that was educational, no GPUs then. at least I can get an SSD adapter thou. Thanks everyone!
  20. You mean if I get a 710 can't I use newer drivers for 3080? I just need 710 for multi monitor support, if it can run Netflix, it would be enough.
  21. From the looks of it, I can. 4.0x16 shared between x16_1 and x16_2 slots and 2 4.0x4 is shared between x4_1, x4_2 and a x16_3
  22. I just don't want to see 3080 to be forced to PCIe 4.0 x8 just because of any limitation on mobo. I know the 3 PCIe 4.0 x16 slots share bandwidth so I am not touching them but would the 2 PCIe 4.0x1 slots also effect the PCIe 4.0 x16 slots. To simplify, would this be possible? 3080 on PCIe 4.0 x16 2X PCIe 4.0 x16 slots are empty. 710 on PCIe 4.0x1 SSD adapter on PCIe 4.0x1
  23. Hello, I want to add a second GPU and maybe an m.2 expansion card but I want to keep my 3080 at PCIe 4.0x16 and not 4.0x8. The GPU is 710 with a PCI Express 2.0 and the SSD adapter is PCIe 3.0 x4. Would it be possible to add the 710 without handicapping the main GPU? If yes can I also add this SSD adapter since SATA SSD prices are insane? I have already installed 1 nvme 4.0, 1 nvme 3.0 m.2 SSDs, 3 SATA SSDs and a HDD. 24. You can sell your 1030 for at least 50 in this market. I am trying to buy a low profile second GPU and the best deal I found was 95€ for 730GT. If you can, sell your 1030 to a sucker like me as high as possible and get a 1050Tay.
