    It wouldn't have to work well, just well enough until I found an affordable flat. But yeah a proper card or a powerline module are probably my best bet. Just thought maybe someone had already done it and it worked just fine. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But thanks anyways guys

    Hello I want to build my first gaming rig. The problem is that I have no access to our router besides wifi. So I thought, is it possible to use the WiFi Card from my old laptop and the antennas in my desktop without an adapter? The motherboard I want to use is the Asrock B450 Pro4 in mATX. It has 2 M.2 slots and only one of them is for nvme. Or do I have to buy a proper WiFi Card or even better a powerline adapter?
