  1. Hello. I am completely new to the forums so I apologize if I posted this in the incorrect place. While I dont believe myself to be completely tech illiterate I am finding it hard to find a solution to something I wish to do regarding audio. At work we use 2 way radios for communication. I have a microphone that is plugged into the radio via a 2.5 aux and a single headphone that plugs into the microphone is a 3.5 aux. The set up is common to what someone in law enforcement or security uses. (Attached image) It works perfectly for being able to use my work radio in a crowded and noisy environment. What I am wanting to do is try and route my phones audio to the same headphone so that I could hear the audio from my phone while simultaneously hear my work radio is someone calls on it. I think it would be best to utilize a bluetooth connection from the phone to help minimalize chords. Originally I was thinking of using a small bluetooth receiver with an aux port and an audio splitter (2 Male 1 Female) to combine the 2 audio outputs to a single input. I learned in many item descriptions of these adapters that they are not intended for that use and that a mixer is needed. Now I'm stumped and not sure if it is possible. Does anyone here have any ideas that might work? In case you need to know we use we use hytera tc 320 radios and I have a galaxy s10+.
