    Just reset it to factory defaults under recovery, just delete data do not clean drive. I honestly cant think of any way they would be able to tell it was ever connected to the internet since all of those settings and records would be reset and wiped.

    thanks, that was the cause. Working perfectly now

    Nitrodragon got a reaction from stconquest in I7-4790k with Corsair H60 cooler running at 100c and thermal throttling.   
    Found the issue, the H60 pump is not running correctly, its only running about 80-900rpm fluctuating constantly even with it set to full speed in bios.
