  1. Hi, I have a problem with my Aorus Rx 580. Whenever it goes from idle to full load, the system crashes occasionally. However, if Im running a game (usually 100% clock), then the system wont crash even if i run that game 24/7. My question is, is there any way to force the gpu clock speed to be at highest clock? I heard Evga K boost does exactly what I want, but I dont have an Evga card... Thanks!
  2. But doesn't this keep updates, registries, etc? It does the same as a wipe + fresh install?
  3. HI, I'm currently running an RX 580 8 GB with an i5 3570k OC'd to 4.5ghz. I know, my CPU is a bottleneck, but overclocking to 4.5 ghz helped me gain a good amount of fps. The problem is, my rx 580 is dying, it started giving me artifacts unless I underclock the GPU. So I would like to get a new card temporarily to hold me until zen 3 + rdna2 cards which I'm planning to get. Which card would you recommend? Thanks!
  4. Hi, so I got windows 10 as a free upgrade since I had Windows 7 in the past. Now, I would like to fresh install windows 10, but I have questions. If I wipe my entire disk, and install windows 10, do I put my windows 7 key to activate it? Was there a generated windows 10 key that I can use? Or will I need to install Windows 7 >> Windows 10? Thank you!
  5. I agree, I should. But I will not overclock any component of my PC. If my current PSU is capable of providing the power, I rather go with an adapter for now. Also, I will upgrade my whole rig next year to a ryzen 2(along with a new PSU).
  6. Hi, I currently have https://www.newegg.com/antec-true-power-trio-tp3-550-550w/p/N82E16817371002 PSU. And I just got a new gigabyte RX 580 8GB and I realized it has a single 1 x 8 pin input. My question is can I use an adapter to use this new card? My CPU is an i5 3570k, 8 GB ram. Before I used a gtx 1060 3gb which required only a single 6 pin input. On amazon there are 2 x 6 pin to 1 x pin converters. Do I need one of those? I really don't feel like getting a new PSU(hope I won't need to!). Thank you! PS: This is my first post in Linus forums:)
