I dont get it. After years of doing jack crap to drive competition they finally have reached parity for real world game performance. Why cheer mediocrity? Why is everyone cheering AMD before samples are even in testers hands?

Can confirm, just used the adapter on my aorus pro z390 two days ago. Leave a gap in the middle of the 2 individual pins while paying attention to polarity.

Going from a 4770k to a 9900k while keeping my 1070gtx I didnt notice a huge increase in top end, but my lowest 1% fps went up dramatically making games feel much smoother. No regrets. (I use the CPU for more than gaming, hold onto your panties the bUt ThE 9900k iS StUPiD fOr GaMiNg lunatics lol)

Eh... some of us just dont feel jaded. My last Intel CPU was $400 and lasted over 5 years. (4770k still works great) What would I have to be upset about? Recently upgraded to 9900k for only 50 bucks more than I paid for the 4770k. If you upgrade every iteration you're a lunatic whether its AMD or Intel you're rocking. I enjoy the stability and compatibility I've experienced with Intel/nvidia for many years. I still have a bad taste in my mouth from AMD cpus and ATI graphics from many years ago... I just cant seem to give them my money after how badly they screwed me with driver support and instability issues back in the day (yes I'm old.) Most of you folks are too young to remember. AMD after the k6-2 was terrible. Anyways, no need to sling names at folks for their hardware choices. Cheers.

Ddr4 is cheap. Just buy a 8x2 or better yet 16x2 kit imo. Unbalanced ram causes nothing but headaches if it even works. Cheers.

Most folks wouldnt use that motherboard due to the vrm design and relatively poor power delivery to the CPU (for a 9900k that is super hungry).
