  1. I know the connection is wrong but i dont i would be able to get the lights to sync even with the correct connectors . Right now I'm thinking about going the neopixel-arduino route since the correct type of RGB strip( pre made for the purpose) isn't available at my place and international shipping is way too expensive
  2. Hello. I have a Phanteks p300 case which has an RGB controller(for 4 pins) built into the case with a button that cycles through various colours and patterns. I have a generic RGB LED strip with 4 pins too. It has similar colors and patterns too . It connects easily and lights up too .But the case lights(power switch ,etc which the controller controls) and RGB strip lights are different . How do I sync them?? I understand there's a similar thread but that was about connection and not the controlling. Thanks in advance.
  3. Thanks for the answers. I changed the power plan from balanced to a custom and it worked. But after restarting the pc it ran at 3.5Ghz at 52°c. So i used the ryzen master software to clock it to 3.2Ghz...but it still is at 52degrees. I don't know what i should do.... should i just get a cheap Aio or a air cooler?? Would that help?
  4. I did. I am at the original frequency. Optimised defaults. I have no idea what to do.
  5. Hello. I am really sorry if this is an already resolved problem. Here's the thing. I have a ryzen 5 1600 (with stock cooler) on an asus prime b450 motherboard with 16gb 3200MHz Corsair vengeance rgb ram currently working at 2133MHz with a GTX 1660. I tried increasing it to 3000MHz at 1.35v and it wasn't stable. Google Chrome kept crashing for some reason. Photoshop runs considerably slower. Then i checked the cpu clock and it was idling at 42°c at 1.55GHz . The voltage was around 0.792v- ish. I didn't touch the cpu settings. I reset everything ( load optimised defaults) and still the cpu is stuck at 1.55GHz. I really need help.
  6. well my monitors pretty entry level..regular 1080p ips from LG.... BTW i have another doubt...which one is the better card to go for with the above components ? sapphire RX580 8gb pulse or the saphhire RX580 8gb nitro +....nitro is available for 216$ while pulse is available for 270...i mean nitro does have higher boost clock speeds...i should grab the deal, shouldn't I?
  7. Thanks..that's true...what do you think about the i5 9400f ? Compared to ryzen 5 1600 or 2600 I'll be losing threads but for gaming Intel's pretty good
  8. Hey guys .New to this forum and new to PC building .in fact this'll be my very first pc build.I have been researching for a while now and want to know if my picks are any good and what changes can I make to increase performance within my budget of Rs.50k to Rs.60k(about 850 usd).. 1.Ryzen 5 2400g 2.msi B450m pro vdh plus 3.sapphire Radeon rx580 8gb 4.corsair vengeance lpx 8gb x2(2 individual sticks as kit isn't available) 3000mhz 5.Cooler Master MWE 550w power supply 6.120gb sata SSD from adata 7.1tb 7200rpm hdd from wd This is what I could go for at Max...your suggestions can go for parts with lower price(preferable). I can actually probably do with rx 570 too...I actually also have a lil bit of confusion about ram compatibility too...so your suggestions would be awesome to have...being new to this I'm sorry if I'm breaking any forum rules. Thanks in advance
