This Is a very weird issue.
I have been able to load windows. After the first restart after installation the system will either:
Lock up at Asus splash screen
Will try to load(I get the spinning dots) but never will load. I have let it go for 30 minutes.
Try to do a system repair but will lock up on that screen.
Get one of three blue screen errors: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED
0xc000021a
The page fault error leads me to believe its a ram issue but all the testing I have done leads me to think that it isnt.
I have tried all DIMM slots with single dimms in each and alternating the two sticks. I have also tried the ram from my rig with the same results as well as putting the new ram in my machine and it runs fine. I tried a new MOBO thinking that was the problem but still nothing. Flashed MOBO BIOS to newest available. Tried with and without the 2080ti as well as a GTX 1060 and a GTX 970. Tried several different mice and keyboards thinking it might be a driver issue from that. Installed on the NVME, SSD as well as a mechanical. Tried installs from the windows DVD, an ISO image from MIcrosoft and a version I had laying around.
Nothing is overclocked. Temps on the CPU in BIOS are showing 33c.
I am building this for my Boss' nephew and it is making me look like a fool. I have been building my own systems since the early 2000's and even have a nice little side hustle building rigs during the holidays. But this has thrown me for a loop.
Please, If you can help I would greatly appreciate it. I am pulling my hair out over this.
