If the card is still performing (relatively) fine, I'd probably wait. The market is still fairly crazy. New generations have just been launched by AMD and Nvidia, but only the top end models and these are very expensive. You could look into the used market if that's an option for you.
 
In terms of performance the 1080 Ti should be a bit above an AMD RX 6600, so anything faster than that would technically be an upgrade. (Here's a video from Hardware Unboxed where they compared the 1080 non-Ti to the RX 6600: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djeL6qUTDTo).
 
The question is, how much of a performance uplift would you expect, before you're willing to spend 600 GBP?
 
Looking at PCPP's price chart for GPUs (https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/trends/price/video-card/), it looks like you could go for a 3060 Ti at that price point (if buying new). I'm not sure I'd consider the performance uplift worth £600. Here's one comparison:

I have just upgraded today to a 1440p monitor, and while I wouldn't say the resolution itself was a HUGE bump up, I got a monitor with GSync and 144Hz and I would say the smoother framerate was much better than a standard 1080p 60Hz monitor.

In that case, consider the one you linked as a start.  As I said, it seems to be an improved version of the one I linked and should be good enough for 1-2 meters.  The extra 10GBP should be worth it as the one you linked comes with a carry bag and a better mounting accessory that mine doesn't.

A few of these can be a good start, you can also connect them together.  They accept AA batteries and Sony NP style batteries.

The brightness can be adjusted with a knob on the back, and while they do not have bi-color LED they do come with a diffuser filter and a warm color filter if you want to change the color temperature.
 
Of course depending on your budget, you can get brighter models.

Before I owned this, I used a chiclet style keyboard for my day to day typing. Which I would say was very similar to an Apple keyboard, so very light.
 
I found the move over to this keyboard quite strange, but within a week I was typing just as quick as I used to, with no misclicks. I wouldn't describe it as heavy at all. 
 
If I was to offer advice though if you go ahead and buy it, get some O-rings for the keys, it might be a personal thing but I feel as if they just make the keys "bounce" a bit more, which is nice.

As long as the cpu is adequately cooled I can't see an issue with it.

I'll be the first to admit there were some inconstancies with my first Blackwidow, however Razer were great swapping my unit, and touch wood.... I have had no issues with this keyboard.

Corsair CX series power supplies are not NEARLY as bad as people make them out to be. The end. End of story.

Sony vegas movie studio OR sony vegas platinum is a cheaper version of vegas, it does pretty basic stuff that you need i think.
