  1. Sorry to bump this, I ended up changing the stupid motherboard and everything worked peachy. There is no visible damage to the mobo so I can't be certain as to what fried it, I don't overclock btw. I guess it just didn't like room temperature, thanks everyone.
  2. Yep, I also tested the power outlet and cable.
  3. Yes I thought I made that mistake as well but I followed the manufacturers instructions to the T and I tried out my other case and had the same problem. Don't have any problems with the new and old case with my new mobo.
  4. I triple checked all the cables and they're firmly placed. CPU, MOBO and front panel using the manufacturers video
  5. Hello frens, Recently I basically got a brand new pc but I kept my old case, in the process of getting a new case for my old computer I left the mobo, cpu, ram and cooler for about a week in the open (my room, at room.. temperature) and I think I might have fried something unfortunately. Here's the specs of the old computer including the new case: PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/TvZwRJ CPU: Intel - Core i7-4790K 4 GHz Quad-Core Processor CPU Cooler: Cooler Master - Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($24.99 @ Newegg) Motherboard: MSI - Z97 PC MATE ATX LGA1150 Motherboard Memory: Corsair - Vengeance 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR3-1866 Memory Memory: Corsair - Vengeance 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR3-1866 Memory Storage: Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($44.89 @ OutletPC) Video Card: MSI - GeForce GTX 970 4 GB Video Card Case: BitFenix - Nova ATX Mid Tower Case Power Supply: Corsair - CX (2017) 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($49.99 @ Newegg) I tested the psu, hard drive, gpu and new case in my old computer. Everything worked just fine. What I couldn't test was the cpu, ram and motherboard. Problem is the computer won't turn on at all, no fans, no beeps no boops. I see no obvious physical damage in any of the components also. Replacing the mobo is gonna be a pain in the butt because I'll have to have it imported, is there anything I can do or any other inputs? I'm hoping I'm just an idiot and I overlooked something important.
