  1. I've tried with both hardware acceleration on and off in firefox and that hasn't helped with the issue. I've looked around in the OSD and nvidia settings and nothing really seems to be doing anything. Thanks for your suggestions and for trying to help, this really is baffling me
  2. video-1568219180.mp4 Hi, as I've stated in the title I have screen tearing on YouTube videos in full screen. This seems to happen on both Firefox and Chrome. I'm running Windows 10 and have an RTX 2070 graphics card that is up to date with its drivers. Interestingly though, the screen tearing only seems to happen on one of my monitors- my 4k Samsung monitor. My other monitor (a 1080P Asus) doesn't seem to have any screen tearing issues when trying the same sections of the same video. Any help is greatly appreciated.
  3. Ohh ok, I remember seeing a thing about DOCP but I don't think I enabled it as I didn't know what it was, thank you very much, I'm very new with PCs and stuff so I don't know that much
  4. I'll try changing the voltage as @Skiiwee29 mentioned and with the GPU I'm going to try running GPUZ to see what that says about the temperature and clockspeed when I'm in-game. Thank you for your input
  5. I couldn't find a setting to set XMP in my BIOS but there was a setting to choose the RAM speed yourself, so I set it to 3200mhz, but I didn't increase the voltage of anything though, I'll have a try of that thank you.
  6. Hi, I have recently built my very first gaming PC and for some reason when playing CS:GO after a few minutes the game will crash or my computer will blue screen. I remember one of the bluescreens had a stopcode saying "MEMORY_MANAGEMENT", however I did find that Windows updates that haven't been installed can potentially cause bluescreens like that so I made sure that I installed all the Windows updates I had, but they still persisted. Also even after like 30 seconds of loading the game, the back plate on my graphics card gets super hot almost instantly, which is very worrisome seeing as I have an RTX 2070 and it is only running a very light game like CS:GO at 1080P for less than a minute. I unfortunately haven't had any chance to install any other games to see if I have the same issues with them. Any advice is really appreciated. 7. I'll look into it but yeah it's doubtful. That's true, I guess it's an experience a fair amount of new PC master race members experience ?
  8. I've tried looking online to find a layout but I didn't find anything, although I didn't look to deep previously. The stock CPU cooler on the Ryzen 2700x was horrible to install and the preinstalled thermal paste on the cooler is super sticky so when I first tried to put the cooler on I lifted it slightly to rearrange it a bit and it pulled the CPU out with it bending some of the pins. I tried to straighten them and put the PC together and it wouldn't turn on. So I took it apart and when pulling out the cooler the CPU came out with it again bending some of the pins again. It wasn't until the next morning that I realised a pin was broken, so without much hope I straightened the pins again that had bent in the process and I got the problem which I asked you about. Sorry for rambling, in short I am an idiot and messed up installing the CPU cooler ?
  9. Damn it, that's what I was scared of, thanks for your help. I don't have the pin unfortunately so I can't even try that, looks like I'm just gonna have to get a new CPU :(
  10. Hi, I've been buiding my very first PC and have run into many problems with the latest being my PC will boot where the fans and the rgb lights on everything will turn on but my PC won't connect to my monitor and it won't connect to my mouse and keyboard via USB ports. To give some background information, this morning, before I had this problem, my PC wouldn't boot at all and I found when taking out my CPU to have a look at it that some pins were bent. So I tried to straighten them out which was fairly successful, but I noticed one of the pins on the very edge of the CPU had broken off. I was disheartened and didn't think my PC would work but I decided to build it all back together just to seem which is where I encountered this issue with the PC booting but not connecting to anything. Could this be because of the missing pin on my CPU? Could it be because of something else and what would you recommend I do? Thank you for any help you can give, I appreciate it.
