  1. I gave the newest BIOS (7A34v1M) and chipset (19.10.0429) a try but im still sitting on 2133, looks like I will go for the pro4 now.
  2. Does it matter if I go for the ATX or is it the same as the f and m
  3. would u rather recommend the x370 or should I go with the b450 when I want to run my ram on full 3200
  4. There is only one BIOS left to try I wont bother I think; the chance it will suddenly work is slim I believe. I v heard only good things about the b450's and x470's from MSI and I wont rule them out completely just because one board was garbage would be neat if u could recommend one that fits what I need it for besides the msi b450 tomahawk/mortar btw. how much difference in performance and vram is between tier a and b? is it signifcant
  5. I dont know the exact BIOS I m currently using but it must be either 7A34v1K or 7A34v1L (late 2018/early 2019); I updated in order to see if its possible to get above 2133 but it never worked no matter if I use xmp profiles or manually. I updated the chipset to the latest available in january.
  6. hi, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good board. I v read all the comments and took a good look at the tier list and spreadsheet but I still cant decide whats best in my case. I m running a 1700 at base core + 2x8gb trident kit 3200 CL14 on my msi b350 tomahawk. Never was I able to go full 3200mhz on my RAM, max was 2400 but only briefly. I almost tried every bios the board had to offer but it became worse im now at 2133. Besides the ram issues the board had many more problems and msi support did not help at all. I m now unsure what to do I was thinking of replacing it since fall 2018. I m quite happy with my 1700 and wont upgrade anytime soon. I have a limited budget of around 100 +/- 20. I v read how good the msi b420 boards are but my trust in msi is quite gone to be honest. Is there anything besides the msi boards in that price range that could run my ram and give me some oc space for my ryzen?
