  1. But I'd still like to see an unlocked hyper-threaded i3.
  2. I've encountered many hackers, Punkbuster takes care of many of them. But Punkbuster doesn't detect the people who have the "one shot kill" hack.. Basically I've been killed by people one shot-ing me with a M9. But the games good and there aren't as many hackers as they say.
  3. Sometimes some servers are scripted this way, they won't accept specific symbols or things in your nicknames, and many nicknames are blacklisted. EDIT: Didn't see your last post.
  4. Go for the sapphire version. The Asus cooler does indeed have some problems.
  5. I don't know how you all open that many tabs.. I only open like 5 tabs.
  6. The thing is that the N4 is more expensive than the N5! But effort appreciated.
  7. Okay. I'm not that kind of a person who watches movies from his phone stores a butt ton of music on it or anything of such nature. I was just hoping to get by with some daily use of apps some games and some videos or pictures. And that sounds like it won't be a problem. Thanks again And why I'm not getting the 32GB variant is because of the price! It's priced at about $490. It just defeats the purpose of buying a nexus.
  8. Well that does it. I've made up my mind. Thanks guys! EDIT: I've got one last question. I'm going for the 16GB Variant of the N5. Is that storage space enough for a power user? Well I'll do my best to reserve it, how much space does the OS and Apps take up? @linusforsell
  9. I would get almost the same experience with Cyanogenmod, but thank you for your opinion. +1 Need some other opinions from other people.
  10. I'm getting my new phone shortly and I'm in a pickle here. I can't decide which one to get. What would you get if you were in my shoes? Generally the Nexus 5 has no comparison against the GS4 because of its price to performance ratio, and although the Nexus is priced much lower it still has the better package and performs better than the S4. Seems a no-brainer right? But it isn't because where I live prices are quite close. The Nexus 5 (16Gb) is available for about $399 and the S4 is about $440. I've always wanted the S4 but then the Nexus 5 came out and destroyed the market. I really like the stock android experience that the Nexus line offers but still it lacks some features. For instance it lacks the IR Blaster and I've heard bad things about its camera. The S4 on the other hand comes with TouchWiz but I will eventually flash cyanogenmod on it, comes with a very nice Camera and a bevy of other features.. But it does have an older and weaker SOC. I could get a Nexus 5 with a wireless charger for another $50 at $450 or I could get a GS4 (Black Edition) at $440. So.... what would you all recommend?
  11. First of all, you have to make posts which make perfect sense and are easy to read. Understanding what you want to say is a real pain. <_<
  12. I'd say if you do want to overclock, then the 4690k is a no-brainer!
  13. Building a PC isn't hard, it's just like building Legos. Go to CareyHolzman's channel on Youtube and watch one of his videos, he explains very well and gives worthwhile tips.
  14. I've had a laptop since three years and I still don't use the trackpad, I just carry a bluetooth mouse around
  15. Not just old CPUs, weaker ones too. Like the Pentium G3258(a dual core cpu) is very weak when at stock speeds, but when overclocked it can match the speeds of the i5s. Hope you do understand
  16. Yes, but your CPU is perfectly able to play that game without any bottleneck. In case of a bottleneck you'd need to overclock your CPU, and that is why it's said "CPU Intensive" And if you overclock your CPU I doubt you would have much of a performance gain. Your fine with stock clocks on that for gaming in this point of time.
  17. Wait how is it terrible? Alongside Western Digital, Seagate is also a perfectly reliable brand. Where I live, Seagate rules. I use their HDDs and other stuff and never really encountered a problem. Please don't fanboy here. Seagate and WD are reliable brands but Seagate is usually a little cheaper. Just choose the one which is better for the job and better suits you
  18. Ask @tmcclelland455 for a netbook recommendation.
  19. We can't really help you like that in the "odd" looking department. You need to tell us first how it looked before and what are the changes that makes it feel odd. And secondly for the changes to become easier to see, you need to upload a picture with any camera that shows your monitor and you need to point out what is the oddity in that image.
  20. Hmm, but making your own PC gives you bragging rights that you yourself built it or assembled it. And you have that tingly feeling inside of you that you achieved something and created something, yourself.
  21. I never really got an advice, but I've heard some crazy shit from 14 year olds. "I have an i7 and I can play hardcore games at ultra settings" (Does not even have a GFX Card.) "My Laptop is better than your Desktop PC." I can't really remember anything at the moment
  22. You may use this PSU Wattage calculator and find out yourself. And this would be fairly accurate. http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp
