  1. The only one sitting here with a GT 440. Drooling on the 7xx series let alone 8xx.
  2. I feel the urge to quote. "Common sense is not so common" -Voltaire
  3. Yes, I had this problem but it occurred occasionally, but now it's fine.
  4. Check this Wiki. May be useful to you https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_CPU_microarchitectures
  5. I'm mostly a righty, there are some tasks I just can't do with my left hand..
  6. Yes they are, mainly because of shipping taxes. I'm getting a R9 270 for $260 and a GTX 760 for $340 Yeah they are expensive..
  7. I know partially of it, I was just sayin'..
  8. Even if we had a spaceship that would go at light speed. We still would not be able to go close there. It would still take 110 years, which is more than the lifespan of a normal human.
  9. I go for the performance over price, always!
  10. Well my father has an Acer laptop with a 2370M processor. It's iGPU is pathetic and fails to run Simcity(2014) or Call of Duty 4 at the lowest settings possible, even if I scale down the resolution at 720p. It would be best if you go with a haswell mobile processor, If you want light gaming along with work.
  11. It would be worth it, yes there are some games which are not optimized and not as much scaled, but most do. And they do give you a worthwhile performance boost. If you really want consistent performance go for a powerful single card. But if you go for a SLI you will also get performance which is worthwhile but not across all games. Ultimately, the decision is yours to make. If you have already have a single card, which you do, it is cheaper to just grab another card for cheap and get a substantial performance boost. It will give you a boost in most games, but will not guarantee a boost in all games. If you wanna go with one single powerful card, then its likely you will need to spend more in order to get that card. But, in my eyes its not that worthwhile to get just 10-15 FPS increase with buying a new $300+ card instead of just getting that same performance increase with just $160+. You do also have adequate power for that SLI. As I said it's your decision to make. If I were you I would go for SLI and when I need to upgrade once again, presumable next year I would buy the new maxwell cards. Possible the 870. So.. yeah
  12. I don't keep much tabs openBut when I'm trying to research something I can go over 11. Right now I'm at 7, but my average is 4.
  13. I think your PC has got a fever. Check your CPU usage, is it normal? And did you install something sketchy which might contain a virus and might be causing very high cpu usage? And try to do a system restore... If you don't know what else to do.
  14. A computer which can run games decently at 1080p, at a stable 60 Fps.
  15. Um, nope.. Well in Pakistan we get speeds like these and it is normal. I was a COD 4 player and we had local servers. I got 60-80 ping on the servers which were hosted in my city. But there is no custom hosting in Battlefield 4 so, I have to play on german servers with a ping of 180-210. So I know nothing but lag. But still I get good scores and people get beaten by a high pinger
  16. You lucky..... I downloaded it at a speed of 120kB/s...
  17. Well I've never had a SSD, I have always stuck with my HDD... It's not really a bad experience, you just have to be patient enough. But I will be getting a SSD this summer.
  18. Lyons, this is the finest cable management I've ever seen. Good Job
  19. Psst...heard of that new AX 1500 power supply from Corsair? It's the best on the market, and it is 80+ Titanium!
  20. Well, I've seen experienced a case like this. Except the monitor had a blue tint. I had to change the monitor, hook up another monitor or a TV if you don't have another monitor. See if your monitor is flawed. EDIT: SORRY! Did not read the full post!
  21. Well then just get a Kaveri APU and round your build off at just 400-430$ that would be enough for everything and everyone would be happy. Lol
