i don't think the 2080 super can push the 4k 120. unless you plan to upgrade to the 3080ti, i'd go for 1440p. plus, at 27in, there won't be that much of a difference

Some of the tech people already got some hands-on with DDR5 DRAM.
It will be different, INTENTIONALLY, so you cannot use DDR5 RAM in a DDR4 slot.
    The layout design is different.

    Ryzen 4000-series (Zen3) will continue to use DDR4 RAM, for 2020 ~ 2021.
Ryzen 5000-series (Zen3+) is rumored to use DDR5, along with support for USB 4.0, on the AM5 platform, for 2022.

Actually DDR5 is going to keep the 288 pins BUT the layout will be different so you cannot insert DDR5 into DDR4 slots and vice versa.

I did not know UEFI was essential till after it was ordered, and unfortunately my revision is 1.x. I am just hoping my current ssd can be pointed to the Plextor as the OS partition.

You spent all your money on something that isn't supported in the hopes someone else could kludge a solution to make it work?

Here's the closest I could find to making this work, depending on the revision of your board. I provide no guarantees or support. Further Googling may yield more.

Or return it and buy a bigger SATA SSD. 990FX chipset doesn't support PCIe 3.0, so you're already leaving performance on the table. There really isn't all that much advantage to NVMe with older systems.
